As you recall, David Hogg was just kicked out of his position as Vice Chairman of the Party for being of the wrong gender as well as for wanting to drive the party further to the left by supporting leftist challengers to Democratic incumbents in safe seats. In every way a political party can be dysfunctional, the Democrats are careening toward an implosion. Riven by poisonous factionalism, running out of cash, and devoid of purpose and plan, the oldest political party in the Western World is falling apart right before our eyes. How bad is it? When the New York Times gives space to a 1,800-word, five-alarm article giving excruciating detail about your party's travails, you know it's not time to pop the champagne cork and celebrate. To make matters worse for the Democrats, on the same day the Times aired the party's soiled panties for all to see, the other Democratic Party house organ, Politico, laid 1,600 words of criticism on party chairman Ken Martin. The media couldn't be quiet about it. With 17 months to go before the 2026 midterm elections, the Democrats find themselves in an existential crisis. Half the party wants to abandon the radical left, while the radical left wants to give the heave-ho to anyone to the right of Karl Marx. Let's start with Ken Martin as a point of contention. Barely four months into the job, he's already made plenty of enemies. Worse, those enemies aren't going quietly into that good night. Support for some of the worst illegals in the country - protesting their removal 2. Violently opposing and obstructing law enforcement from carrying out federal law to arrest some of the worst criminal illegals tied to cartels and the private businesses that they use to traffic minors, drugs, and launder money 3. NOTHING can be cut from the federal government. In fact, the Courts should decide that. 4. Doubling down on trans kids, indoctrinating them, and opposing attempts to stop kids from being mutilated, and to prevent grooming. 5. Support for Hamas and increasing hostility to Israel 6. In freaking out about deportations and tariffs - they’ve ignored the increases in real wages. Americans will do those jobs! Oh and the tariff revenue. 7. Tim Walz employed a man that assassinated a member of the Minnesota legislature - they want to brush this off as a MAGA nutter because of that Papa John’s dude and his USAID work in the Congo on behalf of African immigrants. Oh, and this was off the heels of a radical leftist trying to burn down Josh Shapiro’s residence in PA. But MAGA violence bad. 8. Obama is talking - he wants the government to control speech and the press. This interview occurred after their No Kings protest. The last time this country seriously opposed a king, we created a document that among other inconveniences for the left, ensured free speech and the press. Religion and guns too. 9. They are walking out of Congress during hearings on the physical condition of President Auto Pen. No interest in investigating for the American people who was running the country the last 4 years. 10. But give them credit. They have come up with their equivalent of the Newt Gingrich’s Contract With America - a plan that provides a clear cut alternative to MAGA, and hope for America’s struggling working class.
