He also might not be. Maybe Sandro Platzgunmer is better? Maybe not. maybe jasaun Corbin is better? Maybe not Gary Brightwell? Not sure anyone can definitively say the Gmen have 4-5 better RBs. I don’t know anything about 3 of their 6 RBs. blackshears tape is solid and he has a nice skill set for a short passing game O, but I get why people don’t think he’ll be picked up. There are a ton of RBs out there. I understand your point. Breida and Williams have both done considerably more in the NFL and over years than Blackshear has done playing in two preseason games in the late third or 4th quarter. They also have a 3 other guys - 2 guys that regime brought in - when they could easily have had Blackshear. Maybe they do sign him, but to be back number 4 and non-active. I think it is a huge worry for a guy considered to be RB5 and was a late UDFA add. We heard the same think about Williams getting picked up in camp last year and Wade the year before with his 2 long runs. Williams and Breida have done considerably more than James Cook too. Doesn’t mean they are better. I get your point, but I’m sure you also get mine. To say Williams and breida are better is one thing……but to say that one of those other 3 RBs is also better just isn’t a fair assessment imo. Blackshear made a good impression and gave himself a chance to make the roster of the best team In the nfl. I don’t think those other RBs on the giants would still be on our team. The 2nd and 3rd best RBs on that giants roster: one had no chance of returning to Buffalo because he’s so bad. The other was a PS guy that looks the equivalent of Blackshear (albeit a different type of back).
