PEACE IN TRUMP’S TIME?

Ukraine presses for ceasefire as Russia reported to offer concession.

KYIV, April 22 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday Ukraine was ready for talks with Russia "in any format" once a ceasefire is set, while the Financial Times reported President Vladimir Putin had offered to halt Russia's invasion at the current front lines.

Both sides are trying to demonstrate progress towards ending Russia's war in Ukraine, now well into its fourth year, after U.S. President Donald Trump said he could walk away from efforts to make peace if there is no breakthrough.

“Putin on Monday suggested bilateral talks with Kyiv for the first time since early in the war which is more than three years old.

The U.S. has been pressuring the two leaders to show concrete progress toward a peace deal. Washington has threatened to walk away from the effort without tangible results soon.”

The actual key question is "Why is this war still going on, when ending it was supposed to be really, really easy and simple?"

Hurray for Xitter narratives though?

This is because European countries are losing faith in NATO Article 5, and fear Russia will duplicate the salami tactics it used in Ukraine, on them.

Vindman.  LOL!

Eugene Vindman Campaign's 'Fundraising Expense' at Bookstore Selling His Bro's Book Looks SHADY AF

Well, well, well, what do we have here?

It sounds like Eugene Vindman's campaign dropped tens of thousands of dollars at a Florida bookstore where his a-hole brother just happened to be signing copies of his new book. Now, why would they do that?

Here's the part that raised our eyebrows:

That individual also said that Eugene Vindman’s team had asked earlier in the day what the store would do if a reporter came around asking questions.

Gosh, why would they care if a reporter asked questions about this expense? Almost as if they were trying to hide something.

MSNBC rarely tells the truth, but this one time they did.

John Kerry did not like it one bit. He was not expecting to be called out like that.

Crimea's gone.  Ukraine's never getting that back.  The question is how many more people and how much more land do they want to lose?

The Europeans won’t side with the US, and that’s their right. However, the Russians annexed Crimea in 2014.  What have they done to assist Ukraine, or significantly pressure Russia to return annexed lands in the 11 years since this all went down?   Besides the devious plot to drive Putin to his knees by buying his fossil fuels, of course.

No, didn't forget at all.  It was a war that wouldn't have happened under Trump.

The biggest fallacy of all: pretending Putin’s war wouldn’t have happened, when it is raging 98 days into Trump’s historically disastrous term.
