NFL Covid Protocol Impact: Bills and Next Opponent

By request, we're gonna try this.  Haven't heard from all the mods or the Green Guys yet.  If @SDS doesn't approve, it will vanish.

 

Rules are:

1) News about Covid protocol impact on Bills and next weeks' opponents ONLY.  Anyone may add.

Player, reason if known (contact or infected), timeline if known.  Post tweets, links to articles, etc.

2) No commentary/critique on the wit and wisdom of the NFL protocols or on general covid stuff - vaccine effectiveness, relative chance of vaxxed/unvaxxed person getting covid

3) Read #2 again.  This means "No" and this means YOU.

4) Read #2 for a third time.  If you can't understand the words "No" and "You", don't post in this thread.

 

If you do post other stuff here, cranky mods may suspend you from posting or even ban your ass.  Simon sez

Look, a couple guys suggested they wanted a thread where they could come and quickly get the info on NFL Covid actions affecting the Bills (Buffalo Bills players and their next opponent(s).  I thought it was a reasonable ask, so let's try it.

 

If you all want to use it to ask questions about who is vaccinated or to discuss almond milk or complain about "jailbait" (which seems to be the case from the number of posts we're having to hide), I really have no "skin" in this game - I can take it down and say "sorry Folks, we tried" and not lose any sleep.

I want to clarify yet again that this is NOT a thread for commentary or discussion.

It is a thread for the sole purpose of adding new information on how protocols are directly or currently affecting Bills players or their opponents for an upcoming game.

Unless you are adding new information, don't post here. If you get suspended because you ignored these multiple requests, you'll have nobody to blame but yourself.

On the Covid-19 list as close contacts:

Lotulelei

Due Back (with continued negative tests): 5 days from last contact (contact could be today or previous to today - Monday or Sunday)

Update: Beane's presser stated that "1 or 2" of the players could be back for Saturday's game

 

Sent home today pending clarification of contact status:

Klein

Milano

Due Back: tomorrow

Unsure if this is the appropriate spot for this or not.  Urban Meyer admits vax status was a consideration in determining who to cut.  Why would you say this?
