Well you have to consider how the conservative media reacted pushing for concession in a far closer election than the quixotic effort we see from Trump and his followers to disqualify the margin Trump lost by this time around - the meltdown ironic phrasing is hilarious.

How come it says I can’t view the video because I am in Russia?

Well Trump is Putin's dog (actually Russian media gleefully referred to him as Putin's lovable piglet after he lost his first debate  - Russian humor I guess).

Lol, no, not really. No matter who wins I'm pretty much set. I'm retired and living a good life. Thanks for your concern though.

Yep, you are correct. We seem to have much in common when it comes to politics.

Remember when George W won and the Clinton staffers trashed the whitehouse, removed the Ws from the computer keyboards.

im glad your already retired, I hope to get there someday too.

too many sheeple think this is a right versus wrong, good versus bad, and don’t realize they are getting played by political elites from both sides.

im almost convinced the opposing parties all go off camera, close the doors and laugh their arses off about fooling the sheep.

I usually vote Independant and Dem or GOP if I think the candidate will earn that vote.

Democratic (as in the process) norms do not hold to litigating a voting loss in this many swing states by this much margin.

If it were one state with a small margin then I would expect litigation from the losing party.

These attacks on our Postal Service knee-capping their operational efficiency prior to the election, then on mail-in voting itself as a practice during a pandemic stink to high heaven as the very fraud and election fixing the GOP is alleging Dems partake in.

One side clearly lost the Presidency, and the other side lost House seats and needs to rethink their populist/socialist rhetoric and how that plays outside of the metro areas.

I really don’t care which corrupt self serving party won, but 2016 was literally a mirror image of the losing party not accepting the outcome.

Some exceperts from the pretty neutral Wikipedia:

Following the announcement of Trump's election, large protests broke out across the United States with some continuing for several days.[541][542][543][544]

Protesters have held up a number of different signs and chanted various shouts including "Not my president" and "We don't accept the president-elect."[545][541] The movement organized on Twitterunder the hashtags #Antitrump and #NotMyPresident.[546][547]

High school and college students walked out of classes to protest.[548] At a few protests fires were lit, flags and other items were burned and people yelled derogatory remarks about Trump. Rioters also broke glass at certain locations.[549][550] Celebrities such as Madonna, Cher, and Lady Gaga took part in New York.[551][552][553] Some protesters took to blocking freeways in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Portland, Oregon, and were dispersed by police in the early hours of the morning.[554][555] In a number of cities, protesters were dispersed with rubber bullets, pepper spray and bean-bags fired by police.[556][557][558] In New York City, calls were made to continue the protests over the coming days after the election.[559] Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti expressed understanding of the protests and praised those who peacefully wanted to make their voices heard.[560]

After the election, computer scientists, including J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, urged the Clinton campaign to request an election recount in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania (three swing states where Trump had won narrowly)

Stein filed for a recount in Wisconsin on November 25,[570] after which Clinton campaign general counsel Marc Elias said their campaign would join Stein's recount efforts in that state and possibly others "in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides."[384][571] Stein subsequently filed for a recount in Pennsylvania on November 28,[572] and in Michigan on November 30.[573] Concurrently, American Delta Party/Reform Party presidential candidate Rocky De La Fuente sought and was granted a partial recount in Nevada that was unrelated to Stein's efforts.[386]

Electoral College lobbying

Intense lobbying (in one case involving claims of harassment and death threats)[584] and grass-rootscampaigns were directed at various GOP electors of the United States Electoral College[585] to convince a sufficient number of them (37) to not vote for Trump, thus precluding a Trump presidency.[586]Members of the Electoral College themselves started a campaign for other members to "vote their conscience for the good of America" in accordance with Alexander Hamilton's Federalist Paper No. 68.[587][588][589][590] Former candidate Lawrence Lessig and attorney Laurence Tribe established The Electors Trust on December 5 under the aegis of Equal Citizens to provide pro bono legal counsel as well as a secure communications platform for members of the Electoral College who were considering a vote of conscience against Trump.[591]

The electoral college came under scrutiny andin 2020 the Supreme Court backed the concept of "faithless Elector" and States ability to enforce an Elector to vote the will of the people represented.

It was the right call and was a good thing for democracy.

In 2016 Trump won. That being said we need to not confuse the difference between accepting a Presidential election win, and accepting the man's character and policies.

Most folks on the Left that I talk to accepted Trump's win in 2016, but did not like it, thought folks were pretty dumb for voting him in, and were motivated to have his tenure be one and done after 4 years.

Both parties are complicit in all kinds of chicanery.  They use that to keep us divided.  This is different.  The Republican party is sooo terrified of Trump voters that they will lie, cheat, and steal just to appease Trump.  There is no platform, just a need for them to keep Trump happy simply not to alienate themselves from his voters.  A complete loss for dignity.  At least before Trump there was SOME form of bi-partisanship.

This is the truth, but 2020 isn't going down like this.  Trump is going to claim the election was a fraud, the judicial process was a fraud, and he should be the legitimate president.  50 million people will believe him.

I’m not sure who isn’t accepting the election outside of the trump campaign, I’m just saying the Clinton campaigns didn’t either.

what you are witnessing now is what will continue to be the new post election playbook.

gore challenged Florida results in his election and I’m sure  McCain or Obama would have if Barack hadn’t won in such a massive landslide.

Tactics and tools in this big of a systemic power struggle aren’t going away. It’s just going to get more divisive.

just like 50 million people thought gore won and Hilary won. I’m telling you, mirror image.

Just about anyone in a political office will lie cheat and steal.... it’s all about the power.

Republicans are scared of trump because he’s so volatile, but a generational talent in terms of self promotion and installing narratives and whether it’s good or bad in ones view he did deliver on some of his promises. I mean he’s probably at best a sociopath but I’m not so sure that’s uncommon in that level of politics or business.

That movie Vice did a great job of laying out how these political factions operate And what they value.

What you see on camera from both parties is all smoke and mirrors.

I wish they’d bar anyone over 66 from running. People in their 70s aren’t in their prime.

Like has been said previously, most people knew/accepted Hillary lost, and I won't accept Fox narrative that they "tried to overturn the election for 4 years".  As for Gore, he well might have been the winner.  We'll never know.  350 million should have been skeptical of that.

I mean it’s clear where you stand, but there are Clear historical facts that the Clinton campaign worked really hard to overturn that election.

Then she reneged and filed for recount in four states!!!! 🤦‍♂️

then took legal action to attempt electoral college voters to vote ‘their conscience”(Clinton) instead of their constituents.

there were even cases of death threats and harassment to avert them from voting their districts outcome.

This protracted election uncertainty is going to be the new normal in this growing divisive crap show called American politics.

Im not taking sides here. These are hard facts.

just like I’m sure the guy there now is going to try every angle he can. This is about power.  This has nothing to with good vs evil, right verses wrong..

The facts you get from your biased media?  Please provide  link to the accusations you just made--the DNC paid him off with a multi-million $ house.  Hell, if you can find a link to any house he owns that is worth more than a million, I'll even take that.

it concluded, as have other assessments of Russia's efforts, that Moscow "engaged in an aggressive, multifaceted effort to influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election."

This interview where he indicts himself and his idiot ***** son is priceless. Looking back with him claiming the polls were wrong is priceless.

The guy says if Russia calls(which they did) he would listen.  Then Russia calls, Don Jr says I'd love to hear it.  That's game, set, match right there.  When I opened the vault, there was no money in it, so I'm not a bank robber was their claim.

Where are those clear facts that she challenged his election results?

She emphasized there was no legal recourse to challenge the election results several times.

She did support a review of how those in the Trump campaign circle may have coordinated on those DNC email releases with Russia. Basically Stone's role with Don Jr.
