Boy, what a photograph!  Do we know the year this was taken?

And it just shows what you can accomplish if you put your mind to it, I guess.

Compare the store in the photo to a current Wegmans Monster Mart!

PS:  Look in the window; pies for 12 cents!  I'll take a dozen, please!

TBH no

but I recall or thought I recalled that the original  Wegmans grocery store was on Culver Rd by Bay and Merchants

1964

I was wrong. They claim Monroe Ave

1941

The company opens its ninth — and first suburban — store at 1910 Monroe Ave. in the Twelve Corners Shopping Center.

What ever kind of car that is on the right is badass. Great pic. We must have not had a Wegmans out near Lancaster, all grocery shopping was done at A&P or Super Duper.

Old people like Buicks? This 71 Riviera will change your mind... that is just one pretty car. It was like an art form back when, most of the cars nowadays pretty much look the same... very generic.

It looks like a 1941 Ford Coupe, but it might not be.  Cars of that make/era are not really my forte.
