YoloinOhio 54,808
Don’t think so. He originally committed to Oklahoma and flipped to A&M. Big time recruit

Little late in the response, I was wondering the same thing watching this game. Isaiah Spiller's father Fred was a tight end at A&M who had quit football because of back issues. No relation to CJ, at least none that I could find.

Ridgewaycynic2013 7,632
I always thought one of the 'knocks' on Spiller was he was a Civil War runner. Too much effort between north and south.

Big time recruit As others have said, Fred Spiller is his Dad. Isaiah is a big Adrian Peterson fan, and that's why he wears #28. He flipped to A&M after Jimbo Fisher's hire. Jimbo runs the ball, Kevin Sumlin not so much. Isaiah has great size, and moves very well. Great kid too. Lots of NFL potential.
