They need to make a new version without screwing up the basics which that plane did very well (e.g. be indestructible, be able to fly slowly enough to provide proper close support, be able to linger on target, be able to shred any armored vehicle. The airframes are ancient and it's harder and harder to keep them air worthy. I got a soft spot for any guy who appreciates an A-10 properly. Just an awesome awesome plane.
