Why in the world would anyone believe anything coming from Brennan and his PR people?

...you know damn well the "political hatchet job" on Durham is coming.......the SAME Durham that the illustrious Eric Holder handed several high profile cases to......so Durham was okay then but a hack now?........shocking (COUGH).............

The purpose of the interview was to get Brennan to confirm or deny information that others have provided up to this point about Brennan, and what he instructed others to do.

John Brennan was placed into a perjury trap yesterday because he’s shown himself willing to perjure himself in the past in order to evade scrutiny.

It truly amazes me that these people go forward with perjury trap interviews, rather than telling the investigators to ***** off.

...doesn't the loquacious nature of Comey and Brennan send a clear message that the FBI/CIA are purportedly above the law , allowed to operate unchecked?....dirty deeds are an acceptable SOP.....their reach has NO bounds even if it is to be manipulated as a partisan political operative......so should they and their cohorts get a pass?.....can we logically and ethically continue to peddle the "world's greatest democracy" worldwide despite our "mounting pile of dirty laundry"?......hypocritical anyone??...........

Brennan hasn't been willing or able to shut his trap since Trump was elected.  How many times did he (as an insider) accuse Trump of treason only to have the years of investigations come up empty?

It's one thing to run your mouth with a compliant media, it's quite another to run your mouth to investigators who can charge you with giving false statements, if they simply disagree with how you phrased something.

This is also why I've said for awhile that prosecuting a former head of an intel agency, let alone Langley, could pose serious NatSec issues when it comes to discovery let alone trial. I think they can wound Brennan by indicting his lieutenants (including Strzok and McCabe even though they're technically bureau), destroy what little is left of his reputation without bringing an indictment -- then he'll disappear or have an untimely accident like the kind he used to murder an American journalist on the streets of Los Angeles.
