When/how did they force him to sell the team? 1 minute ago, Doc said: No link. Just incredibly coincidental otherwise. Yes, quite a coincidence that a crusty old rich dude who was being embarrassed in the press for awful behavior (for which he never even offered an apology for, naturally) decided to cash the F out of the NFL for billions. Must have really had a gun to his head to "force" that decision! That's funny...

But by all means, give me a link where it says he was planning on selling the team before the bad press started. 6 minutes ago, NoSaint said: You see, docs arguing that he will face harsh punishment and no punishment all at once.... you know, based on precedent of what people were forced to volunteer to do in marginally related situations Try a reading comprehension course NoSaint. Not that I think it would help. Oh.... so you were saying his SHAME "forced" him to sell the team! Yes, yes1....he was SO ASHAMED that he refused to apologize for his misdeeds....and he had a statue of himself appear at the entrance to the stadium! Yes---that is a man embarrassed to the point of being "forced" to accept 14 times the amount of money he paid for this team---while still insisting on the NDA enforcement against those he abused. Another point skillfully made! When in hole, no one digs more furiously than our own doc!

Can't beat that wonderful logic! Never mind that the longer he held onto it, the more money he'd make. But yes, these "punishments" are virtually nothing to them and they'll still make out like bandits in the end. That wasn't the point.

First, Kaep was a player, not a fellow owner. Second, if the owners impetus for secretly "forcing Kraft to sell the team" is the "bad optics" of choosing a rub and tug joint that had trafficked workers (instead of a more acceptable, certified traffic worker free establishment), then why have they accepted a constant beating for the really bad optics of allowing Kaep to become some sort of saint in the realm of social justice? When all is said and done, if Kraft get the usual PTI, fine, community service a first time offender gets in that jurisdiction, it will be difficult for the owners to force him to do anything with his team. In the extreme unlikelihood that he has to do time, he will give up control of the team to his son. There is zero chance he would sell the team. I believe all the other owners would accept this. 2 hours ago, ShadyBillsFan said: Twice on camera. WEO. If a tree falls int he woods and no one is around to hear it... People say he would be better than this QB or that QB but he isnt 20 million better. If he would take backup money he would get signed. As for Kraft, if it is proven that these Women were in fact slaves then there is no way the NFL can allow him to keep the team.

But not sure how the NFL could weigh that. He'll hand it over to his son. They won't "take it away".

This is some silly stuff. NFL voting to take away a franchise because of a rub and tug ? Maybe if Kraft was himself a trafficker? But that’s really not the case now is it. This will end in a fine and maybe a suspension like Irsay.

I agree if these are willing participants it will be no big deal and it shouldnt be. I also believe that law enforcement exagerates and lies in these situations as do the alleged victims. Its much better to be a victim than a hooker when you are here illegaly. Unless ofcoarse they actually are victims.
