He was a goalie for some type of league.

Experience required.

He played D1 at Western Michigan but that was like 14 years ago. He kept his skills up at an elite level men's league. But still, to step into an NHL game and not get lit up? Impressive.

If he was a goalie in some other minor/amateur league... How hard is it to plug the net for 14 minutes and being spotted 6 goals.  Suppose the Blackhawks could have lost if all 7 shots on goal go in.  But, your team in front, may play differently. Play keep away.

Not taking anything away from him... Yet, maybe the position of goaltender a little.  It has to be thee ONE position in all of sports where a weekend duffer can, MAY get by reasonably (<<<key word there) well with above average reflexes, skating abilities, etc...

Actually the score was 6-2. Winnipeg is a playoff team while the Hawks are having a Sabres-like season. Yes they did play harder to minimise shot opportunities but 7 still came through including one breakaway.

Is still a great story and the guy played well. It's not like Winnipeg wasn't trying to take advantage.
