Just like it's not about the QUANTITY of tackles, but rather the QUALITY of tackles. We ran Poz out of town for the same exact reason. Sure, Poz and PB made a lot of tackles, but they were all 5-8yds into the defensive backfield. Fletcher would at least step into the line and stuff plays for only 1-2 yards. Look at salaries for specifically ILB/MLBs: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/contracts/inside-linebacker/ I'd say Brown is worth exactly $4M/yr, maybe less, but definitely no more.
