yup. did you see him at the senior bowl? He looked like the event was too big for him.

but he can throw bombs in shorts, thats what we should look at. this board has become delusional.

Trent Edwards was the same and look what we got out of him. No thanks on Allen

If he busts the front office guys get fired quick

If they move up just to draft him the scouts should be fired before the season even starts. Got to be blind to think Allen will do anything in this league in the 1st 2 years. What a waste to use all that draft capital for a player sitting a few seasons.

Your joking right Mr.check down please that’s like comparing Jim Kelly to Doug flute. Mr Allen has most air yards completions of any QB in this draft. it’s not even close.

Not saying I want him but he is legit as a first round prospect IMO. His game has little consistency to it right now and he obviously needs work but he is capable of executing properly and when he does the result is genuinely jaw dropping. He flashed in his Bowl game and when he came back out a second time in the senior bowl game. Thing is you just want to see it more often. I dont think its fair or accurate to compare him to Jamarcus. JR had bad intangibles, and that was ultimately his downfall. If Allen doesnt make it, it wont be because he is lazy or lacks the will to win.

So are you going to quit being a Bills fan when they draft him.

No I will just be upset that our scouts failed so bad at picking a QB out of the 6 in this class we could get by picking the most not ready inaccurate Allen.

There is not one QB in this draft that can do what this guy can do. He is the next Big Ben with a better arm but he also is mobile. He is a dream QB. The Bills will rue the day they pass on this guy.

lets learn why, this guy jumps off the screen

Where did the inaccurate label come from? That would be the only turn off for me. Does he have accuracy issues or no?

It comes from watching his alarmingly bad decision making and throws when he was in the unique and unimportant situation of...wearing pads against a (always weak, in that conference) defense in real actual football games.

Allen has never completed 60 percent of his passes in college and, in fact, his career completion percentage is only 56.1. At this point in his college career, Allen has played with inconsistent mechanics, leading to bad throw trajectories. He needs a bunch of work before he is NFL ready.

Uhmm Josh Allen is a legitimate first round prospect..he had accuracy issues related to footwork ..his mobility is borderline elite .his arm is all time elite ..and he possesses the intaligibles you look for. Now does that mean he'll be a star ..no but this isn't a ej Manuel situation where he had no business going in the first based on his intangibles

Stats mean nothing. Skill is everything. Josh Allen has the most skill and arm talent. Put him with good players. Your getting a Big Ben on steroids

We don't have skill position players other than shady

Can't think of many others that are projected this high in the draft with the skillset he has.

he is literally being hyped solely based on his physical attributes. Height, weight, big hands. All factors that are virtually irrelevant when it comes to QB's translating into the NFL.

Yet GM's are putting this guy infront of actual talents like Mayfield, Rosen, and Jackson, guys who have shown they have far more talent than Allen, but lack the physical size. It's a joke.

Josh Allen has the skill set of a 5th round QB, the fact that he is being compared to Wentz is hysterical. He is one of the most inaccurate QB's in the ENTIRE DRAFT.  I can't even imagine wasting all of our hard work to take a guy who is a glorified JP Loseman. Lets throw away real skills like reading defenses, accuracy, footwork, QB vision. Allen is not good at any of these things, but he has 10 inch hands so let's put the franchise on his back.

Every year there is always 1 team who gets suckered into these type of QB's, drafts them far too high, and wonders why they are looking for another QB in 2-3 years bc the guy they drafted has thrown more picks than TD's and still can't read an NFL defense. Please don't let the Bills become this team.

You are spot on.  He has terrible accuracy at WYOMING.  He has played terribly against Power 5 teams.  And anytime someone says, "His big arm would be great in Buffalo" I want to throw something.  You know who else has strong arms: Mayfield (gets windy in Oklahoma), Rosen, L. Jackson, and Darnold.  Take one of them.  I'd take L. Falk or Mike White over J. Allen.

You guys are all going to be eating crowe after the Bills draft him. Then what are you going to do.

If we draft him I'll want him to succeed, but this great QB threw a whopping ZERO TD's against Power 5 teams last year.  Mike White will be a better NFL QB.
