MDH Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 The difference being that the Eagles started to have success a year after they drafted their QB. Said QB isn't even on the Bills' roster yet and who knows how he'll pan out once he is. Also the Philly D wasn't absolutely horrible in 2016. They had a single game where they allowed more than 30 points. The Bills, personnel wise, are so far from fixing things I'm not sure McDermott and Bean will last long enough to see their vision finished. So yeah, maybe some of the criticism of McDermott isn't fair but the Bills aren't turning things around as quickly as the Eagles. Helps to have a motivated all-pro DT. They have another young corner waiting til 2018 to start, and some solid pass rush. This team is bad on both sides of the ball with no speed. Anywhere. At all. Tyrod shady and Thompson are the fastest players on the team.
