Would probably be around the time the draft was over so would be good for them to get some game time for teams to pick up some players before camp. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the “Spring League” has no connection to the NFL. In a memo sent Thursday by Dennis Curran to all NFL teams, the league explained that the new venture will launch in 2017, and that it “is being operated by the same individual that ran the [failed] FXFL."
