Bills Likely to get a 2017 Compensatory Pick for Bradham

Recommended Posts

Moats is a starter in Pittsburgh. Previous regime dumped him. I think Hopkins is kicking somewhere? Washington maybe? Can't remember.

Right, but literally none of these picks contributed for the Bills. I guess what I'm saying is maybe a free agent signing is more important than a scrub pick that gets cut after a year- or sooner. Although the tradable nature next year does add value.

  • Buffalo: They were very mindful in signing multiple UFAs at low enough levels that should not meet the minimum qualifying APY. The one exception is Zach Brown. If he is cut, the Bills would be eligible for a 7th for Ron Brooks.

It's been apparent for about 2 years now that the front office is actually paying attention to this stuff - for the first time in a long time.

Interesting, because there were no compensatory picks awarded in the 7th round this year.

Seemed as if the NFL stopped placing compensatory picks in the 7th round, permanently. Is that not true?
