The #Bills play the #Dolphins on Thursday Night Football tonight. Matchups to Watch and Keys to the Game: http://www.buffalobi...s-to-the-game/

Bills primetime record even on Thurs. night

The Bills are 3-3 on Thursday nights with one of those victories coming at the hands of the Dolphins 19-14 back in the 2012 season.

@AlbertBreer

Decent chance that Bills RB Fred Jackson sits tonight's game against the Dolphins out. Much more up in the air than last week.

5 things to watch for during Bills - Dolphins

By Joe Buscaglia

When we last left the Buffalo Bills, they suffered a defeat in a contest that likely should have brought them a victory. Poor effort in the red zone allowed the Chiefs to hang in with the Bills, and a pair of late turnovers finally gave Kansas City what they needed to beat Buffalo at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

As quick a turnaround as there is, the Bills traveled down to Miami for the second game in just five days. It isn’t amongst the most popular of games for the players that have to participate in them, let alone the team that has to do the traveling the night before the game.

However, the Bills have a crucial Week 11 matchup against a team that factors into the playoff race just as much as they do. How will the Bills fare in the team’s second matchup against the Miami Dolphins?

Some things to watch for in the upcoming contest:

Cameron Wake was a non-factor vs. #Bills earlier this season. #Dolphins fans have high expectations for him tonight. http://www.thephinsi...trel-henderson

A tall task for Miami OT Thomas

Thursday night’s game will likely come down to how dominant Buffalo’s defensive line can be against Miami’s reshuffled offensive line, provided things like turnovers don’t overshadow it. The players on Miami’s offensive line facing the most difficult assignments are C Samson Satele, who will match up with one of the most dominant defensive tackles in football right now in Marcell Dareus. Facing an even more imposing task is new starting right tackle Dallas Thomas, who draws Mario Williams as an assignment.

Thomas is making his first NFL start at offensive tackle Thursday night and he’ll be doing it against a pass rusher with at least a half sack in each of his last six games. His head coach Joe Philbin doesn’t have many other choices, and has thrown his full support behind Thomas heading into the game. He’s encouraged by the fact that Thomas played some offensive tackle in junior college.

Why would Jackson sit this week after playing last week???

CBF

Much shorter time to recover with the game on Thursday. He was clearly limited vs. KC. If he doesn't play tonight, he'll have a full two weeks to recover before the Bills play again on 11/23.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't it be on in Rochester too because it's within the local blackout radius?

You would think right? But it has always been this way. Something to do with the bull **** NFL blackout rules and their designations of primary and secondary markets. Buffalo is obviously primary and Rochester secondary.

I just double checked the listings and the game is only on NFL Network here tonight.

Marrone said he tweaked his groin again in the game on Sunday

Plus he barely played Sunday.

Bills wary of Dolphins’ read option

If there’s one main area where the Dolphins are different on offense from the first time the Bills played them back in Week 2, it’s their increased use of QB Ryan Tannehill as a runner out of their read option plays. It has Buffalo’s defenders on alert to Tannehill tucking and running with the ball to the flanks.

“Tannehill has been playing really good,” said Nigel Bradham. “He’s been running the ball a lot more, that’s one of the main differences. When we played them last time he probably carried the ball once or twice, now he’s carrying it a lot more. They’ve got designed runs for him. We have to be ready for the quarterback runs, stick to the game plan we got, and come out there ready to play.”

Smarter than a Canine: Bills vs. Dolphins (1:42)

For Week 10 Lucy and Zoey return for "Are You Smarter than a Canine" to Thursday night's matchup featuring the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

@BuffRumblings

The #Bills are looking to beat the #Dolphins for the fourth straight time. http://www.buffaloru...otball-preview

Tannehill trending up since Bills last saw him

Since entering the league in 2012, Tannehill is 1-4 against Buffalo and has a passer rating of 67.0.

@ByTimGraham

I'm told Bills RB Fred Jackson almost certainly won't play tonight because of groin injury. Recovery from Sunday has taken too long.

Personally, I like seeing him pissed. He knows he made a mistake that hurt us and he wants get out there and redeem himself. You could even see this on the very next punt return.

I wonder if the Patriots organization would tolerate players who show tendencies to do dumb things (i.e Brown and McKelvin)? In the off season, I'd consider packaging them for a starting OL or high draft pick.

This is the season. The playoffs start here. No other option for this staff and players, besides winning. Everyone is auditioning for their jobs in the future. Losses at home this year, Texans game, as well as no business winning the Vikings game... This is the time to show the rest of the NFL Buffalo Football is to be taken seriously in regards to playoff contention. Lets throw the Bradham smack down!

That game would have been this past Sunday against the Chiefs. The Bills are not in serious contention for the playoffs now.
