We're a little more than 24 hours out from the second season of PPP Fantasy Football. We have a raucous crew of 13 teams so far, including two new players: Mags and Tasker. The rules are the same as last year (except for a few SMALL changes, outlined below) and posted below for clarity: Positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX (WR/RB/TE), K, D -- 5 bench spots and one IR spot. *Note, there is one less starting WR position this year because we added 2 new teams. I think this will help keep rosters competitive. Scoring System: 6 points for all TDs (Passing, Receiving, Rushing, Kick/Punt returns) 1 point for every 25 yards passing 1 point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving 1 point per reception -2 points per INT and Fumbles LOST 2 points for every FG 19 yards or less 3 points for every FG 20-39 yards 4 points for every FG 40-49 yards 5 points for every FG 50+ yards out Defensive Scoring: 15 points for shutouts 7 points for 1-6 points allowed 4 points for 7-13 points allowed *2 point for 14-20 points allowed *1 point for 21-27 points allowed -1 point for 28-34 points allowed -6 points for 35+ points allowed. *Note: I tweaked slightly the defensive scoring -- 2 points rather than 1 point for 14-20 points allowed, 1 point rather than 0 points for 21-27 points allowed. Bonus Scoring: Passing Yards: +4 points for 300 yards, +6 points at 350 yards, +8 points at 400. Rushing & Receiving Yards: +2 points for 100 yards, +4 points for 150 yards, +6 points for 200. We have FRACTIONAL points as well as NEGATIVE points as well to prevent ties. Take a look at this scoring system and let me know if anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or insults before we lock it in tonight. I'll also do the draft order once we get the 14th spot filled.
