Captain Hindsight
I would think this is better long term than an ACL at least

The Big Cat
Serious question: how does one tear a quad? More importantly, how does one prevent tearing a quad? It's such a major, oft-engaged muscle, you'd think it'd be among the more sturdy. Could it have been an exertion issue? Did he just bend funny? eball
The Bills just saved a buncha money if they want to re-sign him. Even the great Eugene Parker would be hard pressed to demand the sky for a guy like Carrington. This season was going to be his chance to earn a nice contract. It can be a combination of things....it could be an inner muscle tear or it can be a tendon tear. He was caught in a scum which could have cause his leg to do things unintended or the strain and force of all that contact caused the muscle to tear.
