outside of the Spiller injury, think there's a lot to feel good about today. Led for the entire game, no turnovers outside of that one VERY QUESTIONABLE Fitz fumble, greedy defense, Fitz making some decent plays, Choice rising to the occasion, breaking that awful losing road game streak......

Still not 100% convinced playoffs are happening, but they could be. So that's something

This isn't Madden. Even if our line can do this, it doesn't mean we should. The Cleveland Browns are plaing two opponents right now. Us and the clock.

what the hell is "madden?" statistically it is the smarter play to for it on 4th and one from the 50 vs punting. but nfl coaches are chicken schidts.

ok good now lets pray we have an nfl running back dressing for us next week.

Tashard Choice did fine with some power running. I wish Gailey will trust more of his RB. At present, his 2nd WRs is doing nothing for him. If the other teams cover Stevie and Chandler, we are pretty much toast.

Statistically yeah, they have a decent shot at getting the first down. But the pros of making it don't outweigh the cons of not making it. Make it and the game is pretty much over. Punt the ball and prevent Cribbs from returning it for a TD and the game is pretty much over. The only way the game isn't over is if they don't make the first down when they go for it or it they allow a big return. There's a greater chance that the Bills fail to make the first down than of Cribbs returning it for a TD - hence you punt the ball.

The difference is: we have a real defense, who can step up and get off the field when required...and...stop a star RB. I expected Richardson to have a lot more yards than he did. And, the D completely owned him on screen passes, quick outs, etc.

Very disciplined.

OTOH, we faced a Dick Jauron D....which couldn't stop us from driving the entire field 3 times, without Spiller, all for scores.

Much easier to get sacks while leading and the other team is forced to throw in obvious passing situations.

The Marcell Dareus sack when we were only up by 3 was not a "obvious" passing situation. This is what good dlines do when you need them to make a play
