We might get lucky in at lkeast one game so that would be 5-11. Remember that this team will have a ton of rookies and 1st year guys. I see us picking 8 or 9. We beat Miami twice, steal one out of either the San Diego, Cowboys/Giants or one of the Jets games. Still can't beat NE, but we finish hot up until that last game. At the Worst: 4-12. we would probably go 1-5 in the division, only beating Miami once. We don't beat any of the NFC East teams, pull out wins with teams like Denver, Tenn, or Cinncy. I hope I am wrong and they make a run at the playoffs. I would not be too upset if they got the number one overall pick but I cannot root for them to lose before the season starts. I think well win 6 or 7 games this year. 7 would be showing signs of progress IMHO. Our defense cant get much worse, and if Chan/Fitz the O keep finding ways to be "ok" I cant imagine we'd win less than 5 games... key additions: Wanny Dareus (If Dareus lives up to potential, I think he and KW will be a force and will make game changing plays) Shepperd (I would imagine learning curve isnt too great for a 3-4 ILB) Merriman (i dont think hell be back to his old form, but even at 75% I have to imagine that would be better KELSAY at the position last year) key losses: Drayton F (if he doesnt come back) Whitner Edited May 16, 2011 by buffalohotwings Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Scrappy Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 You guys do realize that the NFC East usually produces 2 / 3 playoff teams a season & the Jets / Pats are 4 assured losses, so we're almost staring at 0-8 right there. Oakland improved last year, San Diego has more talent on their second string & Tennessee has way better lines than us. Washington killed us last year in the pre-season & Denver has Jesus on their team. The only chance we have of doing well if our defense becomes possessed. I mean Merriman just comes back fully healthy / ready to rock, Dareus is hungry for blood & Kyle Williams hits a new stride with the Jasper sealing the middle. Odds on that all coming together with Troupe / Poz playing hard with Byrd regaining form, it all seems low to me. We gave up last year on the season & played horrible at the end, I see that continuing until different facts are shown. Call me negative but I am pointing out realities that just happened.
