BTW- a buddy of mine was at the NFL Hall of Fame the day that game was played. Apparently, they showed the game on the in-house monitors. After it was over, he says, they made an announcement, congratulating anyone who wathced the game, on having witnessed "the worst NFL game since the addition of the forward pass...this game will be inducted into the HOF"! Sitting there in the second half, playing with the CrackBerry because the game was so mindbendingly boring, I read a tweet by Nick Mendola that said it would be cool for the game to end in a tie. I guess the issue is, why pick *that* game which was one of the most awful displays of offensive futility EVER to highlight your ex-pro-bowl punter? And why pick a picture where you're kicking out of your own end-zone, surely there are good pictures of Moorman kicking from the 20 or 30yrd line... (excuse #2: Getting a picture of the punter kicking out of the end-zone is the best angle to highlight said player since he's presumably closest to the photographer) Either way...funny... They thought of it from an incredible photograph with an outstanding view, which it is. fixed As pointed out in the other thread, is that a pretty easy Photoshop exercise could have extracted the scoreboard from the background, and then they could have used it in a creative way.
