And despite Chalkie's insistence that it's inaccessible from Buffalo there are several roads in. It would cut travel time for Toronto fans by at least 30 minutes. Plus locating it in Niagara Falls puts the stadium into an established tourist area. True, the US side blows compared to the CAN side but a new domed stadium (it HAS to be a dome IMO) can do a lot to renovate the USA side.PTR theres a lot more to do in the downtown NF area as is than there is in Orchard Park, which essentially is only the stadium Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not trying to flame people but it smells up there. Bad and toxic smelling air. Most of the city is garbage unless you are at the outlet mall or on the brink of the falls looking at canada. A new stadium means only one thing, much higher ticket prices. I know there's some dumb people in the area when it comes to the Bills, but I cant believe that people would pay upwards of $100 a ticket to watch this mess in a new stadium. I also dont get Goodell's statement. What needs improvement? Ok, the bathrooms and some more concession stands. Otherwise, it's a decent facility for an economically depressed area that sees year over year population decreases. They struggle to sell the corporate boxes as it is, so no upgrades are needed there. Finally, I dont see any govt money flowing into WNY for this. PTR That would be the ultimate silver bullet project, a perfect WNYesque type thing to do. And why do you keep buttering up to Toronto??? I haven't read them ranting about the location of the current stadium. Chalkie, as someone else said, you're just silly now. It's pretty much a waste responding, but I'll give it a few more whacks. NFL in dt nf would mean 80,000+ more people at least 8x a year. Many of whom would take the opportunity to visit the CDN side. Out of town fans would often stay at CDN hotels, which means supporting restaurants, shopping and dining there. A Super Bowl would generate the much needed and deserved International attention. The multiplier effect would be felt throughout the year as, for example, some visitors would make it a point to come back during the summer and enjoy the new golf courses too. It's their club. You want to be a part of it? You gotta pay. You are right in that you could play football in RWS for a hundred years. But the NFL does not want their teams in old facilities. Besides there are design flaws in RWS that you could correct: wider concourses, more bathrooms, better concessions, etc. And I really believe building a dome will draw more people to games and make the Bills more attractive to free agents. Some of those "dim bulbs" are forgetting the Bills are not guaranteed a spot in the NFL. Being in the NFL is expensive. Going to NFL games in almost every other city costs 2-3X what it costs here. If you think it's too expensive to keep up with the rest of the league, then maybe Buffalo shouldn't be an NFL city anymore. Maybe Dan Snyder, Jerry Jones and Bob Kraft are right?
