LGB Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 Yes, new GM Buddy Nix will interview interim coach Perry Fewell on Monday, as well as meet with other Buffalo assistant coaches. But Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Bills have already approached Shanahan, Jon Gruden and Bill Cowher about the coaching job and have been rebuffed so far. With Mike Holmgren, already hired in Cleveland, and Mike Shanahan expected to be hired in Washington, the list of known candidates yet to interview with the Bills appear to be down to: Brian Billick, Perry Fewell, Brian Schottenheimer and Ron Rivera (with the last two currently in the NFL playoffs). Before that news leaked out, it did look like Cowher had "rebuffed" them. To be completely honest though, you gotta love the crazy misinformation that is going on right now. Clayton reports Cowher wont come here, Schefter reports that Cowher is interested and had a productive meeting.
