Clearly has physical skills yet lacks one or more of the following: vision, burst, decisionmaking, ability to get onto the hips of his offensive linemen. Freddie is clearly superior at getting more out of every play. Yet you need a decent 2nd back. Do you try to bait another team into giving up something decent in return for his "promise", or just resign yourself to having him as your #2 back until his next suspension? He hasn't had a particularly good year, but he's only 23, has no serious injury history and has been pretty productive in previous years. If you trade him, you'll just have to draft someone else fairly high in order to replace him and probably won't receive much net value at all when all is said and done. No reason to draft a running back high up. We need to draft O and D lineman and linebackers my friend. With a good O line we can find a bunch of street free agents to get the job done at RB. Look at Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas. Neither of them was a high round draft pick, and they have run real well for the Saints. Marshawn is doing nothing for us, but than again neither is anyone else on offense except for Freddy. I would get rid of everyone on offense except for Fred if their are takers, even Lee. Why not deal Freddy too, he might get some better picks to use on the line, then the Bills can draft a bunch of O & D linemen, start all rookies at those spots, and then just go out and get some guys off the street to play RB. Its been proven that anyone can play RB, and really, if you actually look, Freddy isn't all that special compared to other RB's in the league, he is only talked about and looked highly on cause of the route he took to get to the NFL The Bills should just cut everyone and draft a new team this year. Why trade a pick if the Bills may just cut him anyway? ML brings very little to the table, and is a below average back right now. We need two backs, but you may as well draft a mid round guy for that role. Cut Lynch if a draft choice isn't obtainable, but i think it's more like a 4th or 5th at this point. Well, the Bills shouldn't cut him; they can keep him if there's not a solid deal around. And I'll bet there's a patsy out there that will pay up a 2d or 3d for Lynch. (Probably a 3d.) What did we see Chicago do this past offseason? As for those who think he's hampered by the line, well, Jackson runs behind the same line. Tries harder. Runs better. Has a running style that fits what this team can give him. Doesn't embarrass the team with his off-season sh*t. Lynch is hardly a zero, but in a two-back system like almost every team uses today, he's unnecessary for this team and has trade value--and this team has needs to fill. Move him out.
