Buffalo,NY - Turner Gill's replacement as U.B. Bulls head coach has been determined. Sources have told News 4 that Jeff Quinn will be the Bulls new head coach. Quinn comes from the University of Cincinnati, where he served as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Quinn has been acting as interim head coach since the departure of Brian Kelly to Notre Dame.

An official announcement was made by the University late Sunday afternoon. Quinn will be introduced at a news conference on Tuesday.

U.B. has confirmed that Quinn will continue as Bearcats interim head coach, and will coach the team in the Sugar Bowl. He won't officially join the Bulls until after that bowl in early January. Butch Jones has already been picked as Kelly's replacement.

Quinn has 26 years of coaching experience at Cincinnati, Central Michigan and Grand Valley State.

One veteran NFL and college assistant calls Quinn "the best assistant in college football."

Quinn was the choice over current Bulls offensive coordinator Danny Barrett. Also believed to have interviewed for the job are Florida defensive backs coach Vance Bedford and former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Corwin Brown.
