  2. " Down 14-6 early in the second quarter against a desperate team in St. Louis, the Bills did exactly what you'd hope to see a young, on-the-way-up team do. They responded to the adversity, scoring the game's next 25 points to bury the reeling Rams, 31-14. It's pretty obvious, isn't it? These Bills will eventually lose a game. But they're not going away. They're going to the playoffs. For the first time since Wade Phillips was their coach in 1999. " Linky
  3. Lets discuss the history of bin laden from when the cia funded and trained the loose knit resistence fighters in the afghan-soviet war, and clintons handling of bin laden right up to present day GWB...I have read statements of clinton refusing to arrest bin laden, is this true?....I also have read statements where gary bernsten had bin laden cornered in tora bora in 01 and requested more U.S. troops to help block his escape and that request was denied by washington-centcom, is that true ? More links will be submitted along with some commentary. http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/presents/bin.laden/
  4. I grabbed a copy of the picture before CNN removes it - it's currently on their front page: http://www.fezam.com/newt1.2054.red.ap.jpg There's no way that the guy wasn't Photoshopped into the picture. No way at all. I remember a newspaper/magazine getting in trouble for making a composite of a couple of pictures (from the same area) into one; everyone was up in arms, saying that the media shouldn't be creating pictures, they should just report on what's happening. Anyone think this picture has been edited? CW
  5. That's real non-partisan journalism Wolf. He kept on rooting for the Dems all night and this is the MSM agenda and it shows. Why can't these people just report the news any more? Where is all the voter fraud charges that would have appeared if the GOP won? All in all, the Dems will look like the idiots they are for the next two years and set-up a new a fresh Republican run the Presidency and the house. This will re-energize the GOP base and propel them to victory in '08.
  6. Looked like Bill Bennet, JC Watts, James Carville, and Paul Begalia were playing Jeopardy with Anderson Cooper as host
  7. I didn't actually realize how true this really was until I looked back on the coverage I saw from the broadcast and cable news networks on election day. http://rawstory.com/comments/22472.html I guess the advertisers really have to disguise the crap they sell us.
  8. These guys are over their head....They have A.J Hawk as the 10th best rookie of this class and even have a CB from the Titans in the list....and no mention of the NFL rookie of the month, Donte Whitner.... NFL top 10 rookies

  11. "FEMA Director Michael Brown told CNN's Larry King on Wednesday, "When I became the director of FEMA a couple of years ago, I decided it was time we did some really serious catastrophic disaster planning. So the president gave me money through our budget to do that. And we went around the country to figure out what's the best model we can do for a catastrophic disaster in this country? And we picked New Orleans, Louisiana."" "But one of the drill participants, Col. Michael L. Brown, then-deputy director of the Louisiana emergency preparedness department, told the Baton Rouge Advocate newspaper that, in a worst-case scenario, there would be only so much government agencies could do. "Residents need to know they'll be on their own for several days in a situation like this," Brown, who is not related to the FEMA director, told the paper." http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/09/02/hur...rill/index.html It sounds like this was the 1st time that this type of extensive planning, drill had been done. They chose NO, who I believe still had a whole bunch of black people 2 years ago. They saw deficiencies and outlined a plan to address those weaknesses. They also knew that teh response would not be immediate, that residents would have to survive a few days, and that LA would need to stoock the initial supplies until FEMA could back fill.

  19. Hahaha, check this out. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/02/16/teacher.a...d.ap/index.html I had him for AP Chemistry as a junior when I was in high school at winter springs high school. He didnt' teach us how to make bombs though, just fireworks and how to explode paint cans.
  20. A deer in the headlights. Hemmer (an apologist for the Dem's - I heard him a time ago saying "140 days and counting".) tried repeatedly to get him back on subject re his conversation with CBS. Lockhart deflected and drifted to "bash Bush" nonsense". Hemmer finished up with "We'll talk later, Joe". Shout and scream all you like, but potential collusion between a political party and a major media news outlet is something that all should take note of.
