  1. I'll take 50 receptions for 1,000 yards...if it keeps us winning, no need to fix it. Just keep it around a while longer. Edwards and Evans are still building a soild connection in live game conditions, since they didn't have much time together in the Pre-Season. The Offensive Line has not been playing very well, especially in the passing game. Our Rookie receiving Tight End has not played at all yet. Our Running Backs have not been picking up the blitz pressure very well, and Lynch has not been getting many passes. Roscoe has also been missing from the Offensive game plan, and James Hardy has not impressed since Week 1. Our Offensive is just not clicking on all cylinders yet. They are all still trying to put EVERYTHING together, so when they can execute the whole gameplan together, they will be close to dominant. Just give it time people, wait and see what happens until you jump down the throats of the Front Office. Evans is paid, he is here for a while, there is nothing anyone can do now. It was a good move. It WILL pay dividends, now and in the end.
  2. That is awesome, good for you. Have fun and be safe! I have relatives in Mesa, Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe. I also have a couple High School buddies in Scottsdale. I was supposed to go out for an early birthday present (Nov. 3rd), but I couldn't afford to get time off from my new job (just started this week). I also couldn't afford the rediculous airfare prices I was finding. Needless to say, I am quite upset that I am not there. It was made up to me though with Chargers tickets and Patriots tickets. Have fun! GO BILLS! * I remember going to the Native New Yorker when I was out there last year. My cousin lived right across the street from the place, and it was my FAVORITE restaurant out there. GREAT FOOD!
  3. Well first off, I would say that Jabari Greer can go. We have Youboty, who has stepped his game up to a whole new level. We have McKelvin, who is supposed to be the next big thing, and I TRUST our Front Office. Reggie Corner was highly praised coming out of college, as he also showed nice progress in his skills this Pre-Season. I believe that McGee is locked up for a little while too. That right there is FOUR good quality Cornerbacks, who could become great. We could possibly give Greer the Franchise Tag and then trade him, but it is very unlikely (would anyone else pay him that much?). Next, I firmly believe that Stroud likes playing here. He is in position to succeed and to WIN. He is getting up there in age, and would probably sign his next contract for a little discount. He has A LOT to prove, and he can do that here. Edwards will NEVER be let go of. He loves playing here, he is winning (not only games, but the respect and trust of his teammates/friends/brothers), and he will stay with the team that gave him a chance. He is in a nice place. Peters...I really don't know what to say about this one. I honestly loved the guy coming out of Arkansas. When I saw a Tight End, who was 6-4 300lbs, I had a "Man Crush." I kept telling my buddy, who is a huge Bills fan, "We gotta get him, he will be a great asset to some team. He is versatile and athletic." A few days after the draft, he called to tell me that we signed Jason Peters as an UDFA. I saw him blocked the punt for a TD in Cincinnati, then catch a TD pass from Losman (both of their 1st TDs). I was going to even buy an Offensive Lineman's jersey. However, this offseason really left a sour taste in my mouth, and I no longer really think he is worth it. Bottom line is that I don't like his attitude. Now, I could sit here and say that his agent was pulling the strings, but he seemed to make NO effort, at all. From what I have seen of Langston Walker playing LT and Kirk Chambers stepping in at RT, I think if we wanted to improve our line with Peters' money, we could find a C and RG (although I DO like Brad Butler). Unless he turns things around and starts performing like a Pro-Bowl LT, I say trade him. One last thing...WE DO HAVE MONEY! We will also have MORE after the season, including incoming revenue from the series in Toronto. We can pay these guys. We see that the Bills are willing to pay players, in order to improve.
  4. Some people are sick, and others (So-Called "Bills Fans") make me sick. We are 4-0 and our offense has looked the best I have seen in a LONG time...and nobody wanted to pay Lee Evans for what he has earned and accomplished. All you critics are BRILLIANT...let 1 of our 2 offensive weapons walk, when we are building a GREAT team and trying to break in and mold a new FRANCHISE QB. Greg Jennings? Dwayne Bowe? Marcus Colston? WOW!!! Greg Jennings has lined up opposite Donald Driver and has had Brett Favre slinging passes to him. Dwayne Bowe is on a team that has nothing but him, and he aint that good. Marcus Colston came outta nowhere, and is on an explosive offense with a SOLID QB. They are all taller than Evans too. People need to get a grip and read up on some more football, cause ya obviously dont know much. You all wanna keep things the same way they have been...don't sign our CORE players entering their PRIME? That will help us win! I WILL GUARANTEE THAT LEE EVANS HAS A HUGE GAME THIS SUNDAY...Showing he is worth the money he received. *As a Bills fan, you are either on board with the team and the front office...or you dont deserve to call yourself a fan.
  5. This is AWESOME! I don't understand the people who question and/or criticize this move. 1. Skill matters to a degree. Stats matter the most. Look at Lee Evans stats with Drew Bledsoe, Kelly Holcomb and J.P. Losman as his Quarterbacks (I'm sure there was another scum or 2 in there). Not only did he play with crappy QBs, but besides a short stint with an "End-Of-My-Prime" Eric Moulds next to him, he has not had even a DECENT #2 opposite him. - Comparing Lee Evans to Larry Fitzgerald is silly. Fitzgerald has played with Pro-Bowler Aquan Boldin lined up across from him. He has been playing in offenses that just winged the ball around, because they had Kurt Warner who can actually throw the ball (kind of). Not to mention, Fitzgerald has quite a height advantage. Just go look at their stats. 2. This signing provides Trent Edwards with 3 of his Top-4 WRs (not sure how long Josh Reed is on board). Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish and James Hardy are all signed through the next 3 years (I think). Most importantly, Trent will have his Top Target (#1 WR) for the next 4 years. That is big. 3. If we waited too long, or let him go...he would have gotten paid more money, that we could not have afforded to give HIM. We would have also had to go out and find another Top/#1 WR, which would have ended up costing us a lot of money. Why not reward him for what he has accomplished? Keep him in the fold to help Trent and James Hardy. 4. Leadership is hard to find. Plain and simple. Bottom line is that Lee Evans is a good "Character" to keep around this Franchise. He provides Veteran leadership that is hard to find, and he puts up his numbers and goes about his business in a Professional manner. "KUDOS" to the Buffalo Bills Front Office!!! *(I can't find individual players' salaries and years signed.)
  6. Thank you very much! I remember listening to your show ALL THE TIME when I was riding with my Father. He was a HUGE fan of your show, as well as the Sabres and Bills...unfortunatly he passed away on June 18th from Pancreatic Cancer. But if there are AM radios upstairs...I am sure he is still listening to you!!! Keep up the good work. God bless you man...as well as all the rest of you here.
  7. He probably wouldnt play any better than Kyle Orton, but he is at least trying to look like him! Is that you JP? Before the game... http://www.tremendousupsidepotential.com/ko99999.jpg During the game... http://stillfootball.files.wordpress.com/2007/07/orton.jpg
  8. I would not call him a "Bust" quite yet. You have to look at a couple things here... 1. With the emergence of Kyle Williams and the trade for Marcus Stroud, is McCargo seeing the field enough? 2. If he is seeing the field, is the coaching staff putting him in the best position to succeed? I think he would be looking much better if he were in on plays with Marcus Stroud, rather than Spencer Johnson. *I would CERTAINLY NOT call Donte Whitner a reach...he has become one of the best Safeties in the league, although there are better who would get the Pro-Bowl nod before him in the AFC, however you can't teach leadership skills and qualities. THAT is what makes Donte such a special player, which in the end made him a good pick at #8. Not to mention, we made a good move by drafting for need, not best player available. I would rather have him in that draft, than Michael Huff.
  9. Malcolm Jenkins? Why not? He is from Ohio State, will probably go in the 1st Round, we have all heard of him and he shows poise in the secondary! *Just one thought on Nate Clements...I think he probably WAS worth the money he got in UFA, but he is on a team that has ZERO pass rush, and outside Patrick Willis, has no playmakers to help Nasty Nate.
  10. HELL NO!!! Then I would have to find my puppy another "FAVORITE" toy...to replace his little mini Buffalo Bills football that says: "Touchdown Bills" "Let's Go Buff-A-Lo" AND... "(dunt dunt dunt dunt)...THE BILLS MAKE ME WANNA SHOUT!" He would not be a happy fella! (nor would I)
  11. What about Eric King? He seems to be playing very well for the Titans as a reserve cornerback. He broke up a very nice pass a couple weeks ago to save a TD and then he made the tackle to stuff the running back and save a TD AGAIN! His stats are not outstanding, but stats dont necessarily define a player. He is a key player in their great defense! Who the hell is Tracy Porter and who does he play for? People know McKelvin...he is going to be a stud on a GOOD team. Porter, not so sure! And who the hell are you? Dooshbag.
  12. I am not sure who Vincent Gallo is, maybe he is from before my time...but I do know who JON CORTO is!!! Does Billdo "The Dildo" Simmons?
  13. how do i get the entire shows each night? all i can get from tonight is a clip of art wander and the insurance company phone call...how do i get the entire show to listen to? can someone help me please?
  14. I would shred some waves today on my surfboard... Sincerely, Rob Johnson
  15. I highly respect and admire your analysis and opinions. However, I do not trust Robert Royal, Melvin Fowler and the Front Office to resign Angelo Crowell...leading me to not trust Keith Ellison.
  16. I read the posts about our draft next year and free agency, and everyone wants a Pass Rushing Defensive End... Folks...We had 5 sacks on Sunday! We just drafted Ellis, we have a Pro-Bowler in Schobel, Kelsay and Denney are pretty solid (especially against the run), Spencer Johnson can play DE, Copeland Bryan has been decent...and from the looks of our scheme on Sunday, we had EVERY Defensive Lineman lining up EVERYWHERE! I saw DE's moving inside, DT's moving outside, LB's rushing/blitzing...our D-Line looked PHENOMENAL! I would say we are alright on the Defensive Line.
  17. I cannot download the new update for my Madden 09 on PS3. I get a message that reads, "An error occurred during the download operation. (80710723)" I know nothing about computers and hookups....
  18. For those who care, here is a 2:35 clip of the Bills in Madden 2009. Check out Lynch's run at 2:01...gonna be seeing that ALL YEAR LONG!!! Second...I am going to camp tomorrow. Can't sleep I am so excited. I will take pictures and post them if I can figure out how. Last...I really like the new layout for this site. Great work!!! God Bless...Go Bills!
  19. First off, I would say that the Jets got 2 very nice additions in Calvin Pace for their Defense and Damien Woody to add to their Offensive Line. Chad Pennington is still a very good Quarterback in this league, much more accomplished and proven than either of our Quarterbacks. As far as dangerous weapons on Offense goes...I would say that they have a solid Running Back quartet in Thomas Jones, Leon Washington, Jesse Chatman and Jehuu Caulcrick. They also have Musa Smith and Danny Woodhead battling for a Running Back spot. Justin Valentine and Tony Richardson are both good Fullbacks, with Richardson being the 2nd best in the NFL the last few years. They have better receiving Tight Ends than we do in Bubba Franks and Chris Baker. As far as Wide Receiver goes, Laveranues Coles, Jerricho Cotchery, Brad Smith, David Clowney and Chansi Stuckey, is an average receiving corps. Like the Bills, this team is young and should NOT be blown off as an easy win. If their line and QB plays well, this team can be as good as anyone. Their Running Back position, as well as their Fullbacks, are right up there with ours. They have the better receiving Tight Ends. Our Offensive Line has played better than theirs, but the Jets O-Line has the potential to be one of the best. Their Wide Receivers need some help, but are not terrible. I am just saying that I would not and will not overlook this team when it comes September. *They also still have time to sign some guys...and there are plenty of decent Free Agents still available, and still to be cut.
  20. I would love to let them know they screwed up, I just dont know who I would contact? I sent an email to the Rochester D&C last year when Leo Roth (I think?) screwed up in an article about the McGahee trade.
  21. Rumor has it that the "Broad" he hit was the girl he was facing off against in Dance Dance Revolution at Dave & Buster's in the ESPN feature, "The Mayne Event." As it says, "Marshawn finds the women of Buffalo, terribly interesting!" So interesting that he tries to hit them when they are crossing the street. Then again, it could have been the "Broad" that f***ed up the tips of his dreads...he wanted them black, but they turned red and he was pi$$ed off. Or, maybe it was the "Broad" that was beating him in Daytona USA 4. If a girl as ugly as this girl beat me in anything, even Dance Dance Revolution, to a song by Beethoven, I would hit her too! 2:00 into the video... http://youtube.com/watch?v=pSO-kdWLFes He drives pretty well without hitting anyone here...must not have been any fugly Canadian women out there... "BEAST MODE BABY!"
  22. "If Marshawn Lynch is convicted of a crime stemming from his alleged involvement in last week's hit-and-run accident, he could potentially struggle to make the Bills' regular season games in Canada. Canada isn't soft on allowing those with arrest histories into the country. "There are guidelines, but we decide these issues on a case by case basis," said a spokeswoman for Canadian Immigration. The Bills aren't sure to play games in Toronto yet and won't in 2008, so this isn't an imminent problem." *This is from Rotoworld.com, which got the article from the Buffalo News. http://rotoworld.com/content/playernews.as...amp;line=117202
  23. Shaun Alexander? I would rather have Travis Henry back!
