  2. These 2 pictures have been identified as the occupants of the Porsche SUV that was registered to Lynch in the accident: http://daveconcepcion.com/images/cards/1983_Fleer.jpg http://i.pbase.com/o6/77/742677/1/73136344...glasBW.tif1.jpg
  3. If I quote it, I can...especially if it is not the article in its entirety. At least that is what they teach in college, English 101.
  4. $85 in canadian or american? either way...GO TO THE GAME! it would be a great experience! I am headed out to Tempe to see my cousins for my birthday in October and they are getting tickets to the Bills-Cardinals game! I saw the stadium last spring and it is sooooo sweet, I cant wait to see a game there...especially with MY TEAM playing!
  5. "Chris Cooley is probably one of the most, no, the most beloved player in the NFL. Hog's Haven does the best job introducing the few that don't know to his previous hijinks; I'll try and summarize. The legend of Captain Chaos began with the formulation of his nickname. It all began in 2005 when a teammate bet Cooley $100 that he wouldn't introduce himself to the St. Louis captains as "Captain Chaos." He clearly took the bet, here's how it went:" "There were five captains," Cooley said. "I looked every one in the face and said: 'I'm Captain Chaos. Nice to meet you.' " *The story gets better! Also, check out the picture of him in his practice get-up! haha...he's a very cool dude! http://logan-logsblog.blogspot.com/2007/09...ris-cooley.html
  6. "I will eat your children. And John Beck."
  7. Big Mike Williams was the best blocker I have ever ran behind in Madden too...that does not say too much!
  8. Although I like him a lot, I need to see more out of Jabari Greer. I honestly think he is better suited for a nickel position. Then again...I also think the same about Terrence McGee. Leodis McKelvin will be the best Cornerback we have had come in here since Antoine Winfield. Anybody agree with me that Winfield was BETTER than Clements?
  9. I am sorry if this was posted, as I could not find it anywheres on here... ...but here is a very good video on Trent Edwards. It is a good interview and shows him throwing some passes to ALL of the Receivers, granted there is no defense covering the Receivers. All his passes look tight and on point...the Receivers ALL seem to show VERY soft hands. Enjoy! http://www.nfl.com/videos;jsessionid=BDE09...9000d5d80874bb9 Thoughts...Comments?
  10. And there is NO WAY you are getting Gibran Hamdan either! How ya like that? I sure hope Derek Anderson can get lucky again this year, or Brady Quinn is better than Tim Couch!
  11. Wow, sorry about the typing error...nothing better to post than a reaction to 1 screwed up letter in a name eh? geeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzz...so sorrry sir!
  12. Semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award (given to the nation's top DB) in each of his last three seasons at Purdue...Named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy "watch list" (nation's outstanding defensive player) as a junior and senior...As senior, second team All-America by The Sporting News and Associated Press, All-Big Ten Conference and Academic All-Big Ten and team Most Valuable Player. That right there says A LOT about him. He is a hell of a player. I correct myself, I like Simpson and think they both have the same potential, but either way...whomever won the job in camp, would have an excellent backup playing behind him. How would signing a guy of this caliber, with this much potential...HURT our team? What I was saying is that we could sign him as a STRONG safety and move Donte Whitner to the Free Safety spot, like some were talking about earlier this offseason. Having a few friends who are Raiders fans, they LOVED this guy. He is a throwback type player with the way he plays balls-to-the-walls. Also, I did not say that Ko Simpson is not a high-motor guy with high character...I was simply saying that those are the types of players EVERYONE wants around here, so why not bring in a guy to help the team who is exactly that? Ko Simpson did NOT have that much BETTER stats than him either. Simpson had 2 interceptions and Schweigert had 10 more tackles. They are 2 VERY DIFFERENT players. Simpson is finesse, Schweigert is powerful. He is the best safety (Free or Strong) that is available, and I think that is the position we need some help at the most on Defense. He also is not much smaller than Keith Ellison, so he could probably help out at Linebacker if he needed to. Bottom line is that he is WAYYY better than Bryan Scott and John Wendling...he would help the team more than hurt the team! AGAIN...I correct myself on saying that he is a HUGE upgrade over Ko Simpson, my apologies.
  13. Raiders released (S) Stuart Schweigert. Schweigert lost his starting job after getting injured halfway through last season, and with the addition of SS Gibril Wilson and rookie DB Tyvon Branch, he was deemed expendable. http://www.raiders.com/Team/PlayerBio.aspx?id=308 COLLEGE: Semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award (given to the nation's top DB) in each of his last three seasons at Purdue...Named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy "watch list" (nation's outstanding defensive player) as a junior and senior...As senior, second team All-America by The Sporting News and Associated Press, All-Big Ten Conference and Academic All-Big Ten and team Most Valuable Player. PRO: Young DB who emerged as a key contributor on defense after gaining valuable experience as a rookie...Has played in 63 league games in his professional career...Has four career interceptions with 45 return yards, a pair of forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and 14 passes defensed...Has made 315 total tackles in three seasons, including 255 solo stops. PERSONAL: Attended Heritage (Saginaw, Michigan) High...Ranked as the No. 9 DB and No. 78 player overall in nation by Prep Football Report...Ranked as the No. 18 best skill athlete by SuperPrep and a four-star recruit (out of four) by Rivals.com...PrepSport All-American and named to the Detroit News and Saginaw News dream teams...Totaled 1,502 rushing yards with 22 touchdowns as an option QB, threw for 500 yards with four touchdowns and recorded 50 tackles with three interceptions and seven pass breakups on defense en route to being named the Detroit Athletic Club Male Athlete of the Year as senior...Led the league in rushing and scoring...Also participated in basketball and track. *I think this would be good competition for Ko Simpson. He is VERY tough against the run and has good ball skills. High character and high motor!
  14. I do not recall what his injury was from (motorcycle accident?), but if it is not a concern...the answer is plain and simple... HELL YESSSSS! I would LOVE to have this guy in a Buffalo Bills uniform, he would give us 1 of the Top-5 Tight Ends in the entire NFL. Look what he did for Derek Anderson, and imagine what he could do for Trent Edwards and Marshawn Lynch. A linebacker would have to drop into coverage, safeties would not be able to stack the box...our offense would be Top-10! Character...blah blah blah! Good coaches and the "high character" players we DO have, would straighten him out. Picture this... QB - Trent Edwards RB - Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, Dwayne Wright, Xavier Omon FB - Mike Viti/Darian Barnes TE - KELLEN WINSLOW, Robert Royal, Derek Fine, Derek Schouman WR - Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, Steve Johnson WR - James Hardy, Josh Reed, Justin Jenkins LT - Jason Peters LG - Derrick Dockey C - Melvin Fowler RG - Brad Butler RT - Langston Walker This is a VERY POWERFUL and EXPLOSIVE offense! All depends on how much he would cost us!
  15. You are right, my bad. A couple places that I read information about him, said that he was a Guard. But, I just found this on him... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_Olivea I like this part... "Since being drafted in 2004, Olivea started 31 of 32 games in 2 seasons for the Bolts. In August of 2006, The Chargers rewarded Olivea with a 6-year, $20 million extension. The deal made him the sixth highest-paid right tackle in the NFL at the time. Due to his performance and his low draft position, Olivea is now considered to be one of the biggest draft steals in recent years." He could definitely come in and replace Brad Butler. Although I think Butler is going to a very good Right Guard and he already is showing signs of promise, I think that Olivea would be an upgrade and improve our line. Would it be that hard for someone like Butler or even Olivea to change from Guard to Center? Is the transformation that hard? Thank you very much, I appreciate it. I tried very hard to gather useful information that I can post to help contribute.
  16. Out of the 4 teams, only the Browns did not make the playoffs last year, or any other year in the last 5 seasons.
  17. That is EXACTLY what I said... The Bills resemble the game plan of last year's Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. Browns: 1. Trent Edwards has a coming out party (ala Derek Anderson) and our passing attack proves to be improved and strong. 2. Our #1 Running Back dominates defenses, causing Defensive Coordinators to stack 8 in the box.
  18. Some of you people NEED to DROP IT! NO CHARGES! NOBODY HURT! BIG MISUNDERSTANDING! It is a non-issue and his SCUMBAG of a father needs to get scared and/or pistol whipped, for not being a part of his child's life...until he got rich! JAMES HARDY FOR PRESIDENT...KING...AND POPE!
  19. Although I was a HUGE Parrish fan while he was at the "U" and I am a HUGE Lynch fan now that he is a Buffalo Bills... If I was building a team and had to choose who to build my team around, I would take the guys who win games by themselves, and who defenses have to prepare a special gameplan for each week... ...Peterson and Hester. *(Lynch and Peterson are totally different types of players, same goes for Parrish and Hester.)
  20. I changed the Original Post...took out some guys who are too old, and took out the Restricted FA's since we can't sign them now anyways. I also added a little info on each player I like. Let me know your thoughts on these players. I REALLY would like the Bills to bring in Shane Olivea. He was the starting Right Guard for the Chargers, and he can play Center!!! I think we could upgrade our safety position...and Cooper, Doss and Kennedy would all be very nice additions. I don't know who I would rather have.
  21. Thank you for the info...I did not know that. I agree completely. I would really like to see Ruben come back and mentor our young linemen, and Doss would be a upgrade over our backups. I also like the idea of shifting Whitner to FS and Doss at SS, if they dont think Ko can work out at FS and Doss would be a better fit back there. I totally forgot all about that...my bad. I actually watch A LOT of football, but I dont really pay ANY attention to the Eagles or Cowboys. McDougal would be worth at least a look in training camp, but I didnt realize he is 30 years old. Chris Canty in the mold of Justin Tuck, I meant that he could play DE or DT because he has size and speed. I just like the idea of having a couple players on the team that can play and contribute at more than 1 position. With McDougle's speed, he could play OLB if he had to, he did at the "U" and he has lined up there a few times for the Eagles in the past, from what I have read and heard about him.
  22. HAHA...yeah, it was supposed to be ( C ).
  23. I am so sick of this bull$h1t about James Hardy. What he did is a not really a big deal that should effect his reputation this early. There were no charges and he was not arrested, making it a non-issue. His father must have done something to get on his nerves and push his buttons, for him to act out like that. For god sakes, his father was a coke-head, a fraud and a thief. I would say he deserved it, and should have gotten his @$$ beat for not being in his son's life, his whole childhood. People say that he should have gone to the "U" down in Miami, and he should have been drafted by the Bengals? Come on folks, this kid has not killed anybody, raped a woman, been associated with drugs, and the trouble he has gotten into has been dropped. The whole thing was blown out of proportion by his neighbor who saw the incident, and it was only because he is a professional athlete. I think that James Hardy will be a STUD Wide Receiver for the Buffalo Bills, for many years to come. I really hope that he exceeds everybody's expectations for him...eventually making the Pro-Bowl or setting/breaking some receiving records, either for the Bills or the NFL. Out of ALL the Wide Receivers in this years draft class, I strongly believe that we got the best one. The only other Wide Receiver that I think will have an immediate impact and be an All-Star out of this group would be Jordy Nelson, and maybe Early Doucet or Mario Manningham. I also really like Malcolm Kelly and Limas Sweed, but I honestly believe that Hardy will be better than every single Wide Receiver in this years draft class. For ALL the nay-sayers out there, please continue to have negative feelings and doubts about our new Wide Receiver. When James Hardy does turn into at the least Plaxico Burress, and at the most Terrell Owens/Randy Moss, DO NOT jump on the bandwagon. You either like him NOW or you don't and NEVER will. *(NO I am not saying that he will be better than Owens or Moss, but he has the potential to resemble the way they play.) My prediction for James Hardy's stats in 2008-2009: 70 receptions - 800/900 yards - 8 touchdowns *Assuming he stays healthy and plays all 16 games.
  24. I would REALLY like us to sign (DE) Jerome McDougal. I think he would bring some speed and pass rush off the end in our rotation. He was a 1st Round pick out of Miami University, and with the right coaching, he would be a solid contributer. Mike Doss would also be a nice backup. He is from Ohio State and is tough against the run. We need depth at Strong Safety. If we could make a reasonable deal with Dallas, (DE) Chris Canty would be an excellent addition to our D-Line rotation, in the mold of Justin Tuck.
  25. The Seattle Seahawks just released © Chris White. He is 6-3, 321lbs, 24 years old and attended college at South Carolina. He has played in 13 games in 2 seasons. He was undrafted. *I say we bring him in to take a look at him, but it is hard to find valuable information on him. On a side note: The Chicago Bears also released (S) Adam Archuleta. We have been looking to add help to the Safety position, and I think he would be a nice addition.
