  1. The players usually know who the best players are on their team. The coach preaches for the players to always play hard to give the team the best chance to win. It makes little to no sense with this philosophy to play anyone but the player that has won his position fair and square through competition. When Allen has won the competition and is the best QB on the team he will play. Until then, it will be the one who has shown himself to be the best. IMO.
  2. "Where would you rather be than somewhere else a little later."
  3. I believe benching Malcolm Butler their starting corner back in the Superbowl has left a really bad taste in Brady and Gronk mouths'. You work hard all year and then the coach pulls the rug out from under you on the biggest stage in sport. I believe it is going to linger into the season and we are about to see the demise of the patriots. I hoooooooooooooopppppppppppppppppeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I respect the men and women who fight in our wars. I admire those who protest wars they do not believe in. I do not admire or respect a coward who hid from service and stands for nothing but himself.
  5. An argument could be made that no christian, jew or muslim should stand at attention for the flag or the anthem. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.
  6. We aren't starting a bunch of rookies. All of our linemen have starting experience at the NFL level and four of them started for our offensive line which was the 6th best rushing attack in 2017 and 1st in 2016. I may be wrong but I think this group is gonna be fine. Like the additions of Teller and the Cincinnati Center. Hopefully the pass protection improves through some added play action plays.
  7. No Mike Curtis? He was the nastiest guy not named Butkis. Worthy alone for his shot on a fan running around back in the early 1970's.
  8. I wonder why the other 31 teams haven't picked him up.
  9. I will take strong, big, smart over weaker, smaller dumber players.
  10. Have kick off from the receiving teams 40 yard line. If ball goes in end zone/out of end zone ball is placed on the 30. Otherwise they run it out and get as far as they can. Offers the touchdown run back and the chance for the defense to set the offense back behind the 30 yard line. Cuts down on defenders getting a 60 yard running start which probably contributes to many of the concussions on these plays.
  11. We Have A. J. McCarron for 2 years, Nathan Peterman for 3 more years and Josh Allen for five years, so why hurry getting Allen in there. Let’s find out what we have in McCarron and Peterman while Allen gets situated into being a pro. Worst case, if we sit Allen this year is that we have the next four years for him to show his stuff. Best case scenario is that one of the others steps up and becomes a top flight quarterback. This gives us options for the future. Let’s narrow things this year by giving reps to McCarron and Peterman and whoever wins faces off against Allen next year.
  12. Start the best player at each position. Make each player earn their place on the team
  13. Jim Brown led the league in total yards from scrimmage 6 times, Thurman 4 times (in a row), Eric Dickerson 4 times, O.J. Simpson 3 times, nobody else since Jim Brown and the aforementioned have done it more than twice. Everyone is behind these four. IMO.
  14. 1st-Chris Williams-OT 2nd-Anthony Cason-CB 3rd-Earl Bennett-WR 4th- JJ Finley-TE 4th-Hillis/Schmidt-FB 5th-Sullivan/Pollak/Wallace-C 6th-Best Available 7th-Best Available 7th-Best Available glad to see others wanting to add to the OL. Everything indicates Williams will be there. He could add depth/possibly start by middle of the season giving us a big upgrade.
