  1. Enough with blaming the refs, make some plays.
  2. Bears D got smart; concentrate on CJ and force EJ to beat them.
  3. Looked good and he was down.
  4. Part of being a Bills fan. Wait, did you mean their hair?
  5. How come Mario and Kyle don't have their first initials on their jerseys, just Williams? I can't tell who's who.

  7. I don't believe this management and coaching team has what it takes to develop a championship team. They may get a little better or not, but this group will not get them to a champion level. Unless the new owner cleans house, I expect Marrone will be around for another year, then Schwartz will take over for a couple years, then it will finally be clean house time. Rinse and repeat. I think Brandon will survive no matter what because Mary Wilson likes him and won't want the new owner to let him go.
  8. And both are great at their jobs.
  9. Not in an NFL city, but in Syracuse where SU is followed like a pro team. Moved here as a kid, but never cared about them. Like a toxic chemical, the Bills are in my blood.
  10. Don't know unless you try. Who thought Mario or Spikes would come here before they did. He may have thought he had a better chance of starting in Buffalo, if given the chance.
  11. When I speak of a QB to challenge EJ, I'm talking about when free agency opened, and the obvious choice for me was Vick. They could have also brought in Sanchez. They didn't even give Tavares Jackson a chance when he was here. But in the short term, they should have got Orton signed earlier so he could have played a couple of preseason games.
  12. Perhaps the argument last week at practice was Marrone complaining that when Whaley told him he would get a veteran backup, Marrone was expecting more than Palmer. But bringing a qualified veteran in earlier who may have outplayed EJ in the preseason would have looked bad if they insisted that EJ still start the season. They've never wanted a real competition.
  13. The Bills didn't want anyone on the roster in preseason who could play better than EJ, knowing that if they did the fans would be calling for him to start over EJ. This way they can say EJ is the best QB who knows the play book. It's always been about justifying picking him in the first round and not giving him real competition.
  14. There goes my fantasy football team.
  15. Tavares Jackson is a UFA after this season. So is Tom Brady.
  16. Have to give Sal points for endurance. He worked the morning show yesterday, was on sidelines during game, then hosted post game show until 11:30pm, and is back on air at 6am today.
  17. It's funny how other teams don't show anything, but they still manage to score and even win in the preseason.
  18. Is what the Bills do to their fans covered by the new domestic violence rules?
  19. And there aren't even cheerleaders to watch instead of the game.
  20. Like The Sound of Music, it repeats every year.
  21. But, but, they're running a vanilla offensive plan. Just wait until they open up the play book next week. This is all just a strategy so teams underestimate them.
  22. Sure, if the prices aren't inflated. He's doing the same work as a waitress that you would tip.
  23. Howard Simon is my favorite host, I've liked him since the Empire Sports days. Humorous yet informative, and willing to allow debate. I don't mind negative comments about the sports teams, they're well deserved, but what I don't like about Schoop and Jeremy White is how they talk down to callers with different opinions. Sal can be a bit of a know-it-all at times, but he's fair to callers. I also like Matthew Collier, and Brian Kozial does a nice, fair job on Sabres game nights.
