I cannot think of ONE reason of why they should not go after him full force. Just think about the offense over the last 10 years. They could still draft a qb in the first if their guy fell to them. This way, you are insuring the 2010 season as well as the future. This line CAN still be fixed in one year with health, FA and a smart draft.

Who really cares if people are behind this team or not. This whole conversation comes across so 5th grade. Follow them or don't follow them. Personally, as long as they have a team, I'll be happy hanging out with friends and going to games without expecting much to change....If they are good, bonus.

Well, I don't know much about his arm strength but I loved what I saw in the few games I watched. He was completely clutch making some VERY tough throws in that Bowl game. I would not be opposed at all in the 3rd round.

I am not going to pretend I followed Lefevre's whole career but I did see a couple games including his Bowl Game. I was more impressed with him than any other college QB I saw this year. I think it would be great to get him in the third and draft LT and DT in rounds 1 and 2.

If anyone just listened to WGR, they would have heard Joe D talk about what this team needs. He said he is so sick and tired of hearing all these coaches talk about discipline and not about what kind of players they are going to bring in to coach. Basically, he said build the two lines (which we all know) and get a shutdown corner. He specifically said that the Left Tackle out of Iowa is someone the Bills need to get as well as Lefevre at QB. I would not be posting this if I disagreed. Would there be any way to get Lefevre in round 3 or would they have to take him in round 2.

You have to assume that Chan Gailey did not come with a very big price tag so Brandon KNOWS that this will not get people off the fence. The big splash (not the one Thurman was talking about) will have to take place in FA. Take the $$ you saved (not intentionally) on the HC and overpay for either a QB, LT or DE. Go after a McNabb, Peppers or Mcneil and do WHATEVER it takes to solidify a major hole on this team. That and a successful draft with NIX could go a long way. Sabres are rolling and we just have to hope that Bills are pro-active in FA. The $$ saved on Owens and Gailey alone should be able to land a Blue Chipper. Ditch the cash to cap and make one last charge if you can Ralph.
