  1. And the Bills brought back the same starting five on the O-line 🙈👎👎
  2. It took a while to get Hughes signed, so this is nothing to freak out over.
  3. I think the NFL wants Brady to do much more than that.
  4. Glad to see the NFL sticking to their guns on this. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-brady-willing-to-accept-suspension-for-not-cooperating/ar-BBlSimw?ocid=iehp "ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Brady would be open to accepting a suspension only if the punishment is the result of failing to fully cooperate with the investigation. As you know, Brady refused to turn over his personal cell phone during the Ted Wells investigation. That is apparently not good enough for the NFL. The reason no progress is being made is that Brady refuses to admit he had any knowledge of alleged ball tampering. The NFL wants the 38-year-old to accept the findings of the Wells report if the two sides agree to settle."
  5. I agree John. I think even if Whaley and Ryan wanted Rice that the Pegula's would step in and veto it.
  6. Rex did say the team will know, but the Colts (and everyone else) might not know up until Week 1 of the regular season.
  7. Since Manuel was named starter for the Blue and White scrimmage, and Cassel was named starter for the first preseason game vs the Panthers, now it’s Taylor’s turn to start vs the Browns. So, does that mean since each QB has been given starting reps with the one’s after this Thursday’s preseason game vs the Browns, the Bills will make their decision on who will be the Bills starting QB for the season? If so, will we see Cassel or Taylor as the Bills starting QB in the Bills third preseason game vs the Steelers? With Matt Cassel, the Bills have a QB that will play it safe with short to immediate passes or otherwise known as the "dink and dunk" game. With Tyrod Taylor, the Bills have a QB that is mobile, can scramble to avoid the sack, stretch plays with his feet and can quickly run for yards. If Taylor continues to perform as well as he has been, he could have the starting QB position locked up after this week’s preseason game.
  8. http://www.wgr550.com/Rookie-Darby-vows-to-rebound/21863039 "But after the game, even Bills head coach Rex Ryan echoed Darby's own personal assessment by telling reporters his young corner "never played as well as I was hoping." Unofficially, Darby was targeted by Carolina Panthers quarterbacks six times in the team’s first preseason game. Of those, he gave up four completions, including two that went for 38 and 34 yards, as well as a touchdown." While some on here think my line of reasoning is "hitting the panic button," I'm just making a realistic observation. I think Darby has the possibility of being a good CB in the league, but after Friday's preseason game where he gave up big gains for 38 and 34 yards, plus a touchdown, there are legitimate concerns. Rookie CB's tend to struggle. Even Revis wasn't great his rookie year and got burnt in coverage, but he improved over time. I think Darby should be brought along slowly in the starting lineup until he can show he can handle the position, vice be opening day starter as that could be a recipe for disaster.
  9. I agree. Even though Darby defended two passes, he mainly got torched by Benjamin and Benjamin used his height to his advantage last night against Darby. It's going to take time for Darby to develop and it is not a good idea at all to have him in the starting lineup against the Colts.
  10. If McKelvin's ankle injury is significant enough to where he will not be ready to start the season, will Graham or another CB start in his place? I understand that Rex fed Darby to the wolves last night to help him with his development, but Darby is nowhere near ready to assume a starting role and will get picked on big time by Andrew Luck in week 1.
  11. Even though the production was bad last night, I would watch that any day compared to a Redskins preseason game broadcast. Joe Theismann is absolutely brutal!!
  12. I agree that the broadcast was lousy last night. There weren't very many replays and you had to wait until the next play started to see if a penalty was against the offense or defense.
  13. I agree on Mulligan, too many penalties and not effective in the passing game.
  14. Besides the one horrible miss, Gay did very well, especially with hitting a 52yd FG.
  15. Refs were absolutely terrible tonight! Good game otherwise. I liked what I saw from Cassel & Taylor.
  16. If only Manuel could put it all together. He's just too inconsistent.
  17. Nice scramble to avoid the sack, but can't make a good throw.
  18. Where did the ball hit O'Leary? I wish there were better replays tonight.
  19. They should switch Graham back to CB until McKelvin returns
  20. So far, those two, along with Hogan had bad drops.
  21. I liked what I've seen from Cassel and Taylor. I like to see what Taylor can do with the first team as his first two drives were very impressive. Darby did not look well so far, I hope he improves quickly, otherwise I can see Andrew Luck picking on him big time in Week 1. I also hope Dan Carpenter will be ready for Week 1 as Gay had a bad FG miss.
  22. Thanks everyone, seems like the 7-day free trial is the best bet for tonight.
