  1. But according to Patriots fans, everyone is "haters," "nobody likes a winner," "the NFL has it out for them," "Goodell has it out for them," "everyone is jealous!" It's amazing that Belichek is still allowed to coach in the NFL.
  2. Anyone know why Carpenter & Schmidt were having a heated conversation with the refs? Was another idiot fan shining a lazer pointer in Carpenter & Schmidt's eyes?
  3. It's painfully obvious after this case, Jonathan Vilma and other cases that have went before the courts and have the judge rule in favor of the player that the NFL needs to change their procedures in how they handle player discipline. Whether it be by a committee that hands out the punishments should be a first step.
  4. I understand the legal argument the judge was making. It seems the NFL needs to have, in writing, every single possible forms of cheating and what those punishments are in order for it to hold up in a court of law. Do you how long that would take and what a waste of time and money it would be?
  5. http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/patriots_nfl/the_blitz/2015/09/tom_brady_beats_roger_goodell_deflategate_suspension_nullified "The Court finds that Brady had no notice that he could receive a four-game suspension for general awareness of ball deflation by others or participation in any scheme to deflate footballs, and non-cooperation with the ensuing Investigation. Brady also had no notice that his discipline would be the equivalent of the discipline imposed upon a player who used performance enhancing drugs," Berman wrote in his decision" So, the NFL was suppose to catch Brady in the act first, then give him a warning saying "Tommy, you better not do that again, otherwise you're going to get a four game suspension?" That is bull ****! You know you're not suppose to steal the gameballs from the refs and deflate the balls to under the regulated psi. Saying he should have been warned by the league beforehand is a crock of ****. So what, are we supposed to tell criminals once they commit a violent act, let them commit the act first, then give them a verbal warning telling them that if they do it again they'll get punished? What kind of pussified nation have we become?
  6. Since punishments can be voided by a judge, then it's time players brought back stickem', use the clothesline, horsecollar tackle, getting jacked up like pro wrestlers etc...
  7. Don't get me wrong, I love Freddie just like the next Bills fan, but he's been declining and hasn't been able to stay healthy. With Freddie bonding with the community the way he did and always being a selfless player prolonged his career here in Buffalo. Otherwise, Freddie would have been out of here a few years ago. I hate to say it, but that's the harsh reality of professional sports, it's what have you done for me lately. Just look at Lee Evans, fans were pissed when the Bills traded him, but what happened, he played for the Ravens for one year, then was out of the league the next year. No player wants someone to tell them "your time is done," they would rather walk away on their own terms, but that can't always happen.
  8. My final four: Bills, Ravens, Seattle, and Green Bay Bills beat Green Bay to become the Superbowl champs!
  9. I think those 49ers fans are morons as the last three years, the 49ers offense was in the Top 5.
  10. I was hoping they'd keep him around as a good 3rd down blocker, but the Bills have so many RB's and he became expendable, especially at his age. Thanks for all the memories FredEx!
  11. Cassel has not produced any TD's in the preseason, compared to Taylor and Manuel who have led multiple drives for TD's. It would be a horrible move if Cassel were to be named the starter.
  12. Martavis? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gODZzSOelss
  13. Who is this Marrone guy you speak of?
  14. Guys like Jeremy White, Mike Schopp and Joe Buscgalia are all a bunch of hacks that shouldn't be in the positions that they are. White has been crying ever since the Bills traded up to get Sammy Watkins and what a horrible move it's been. Both White and Joe B are constant Manuel bashers. Schopp is an annoying idiot. Ever since I heard he say "I wished the Bills would have gotten annihilated against the Patriots" in the post-game show last year when the Bills beat the Patriots, I just couldn't stand the guy.
  15. Who let the dogs out...
  16. Astro, Thank you for all your efforts again this summer! They are always very appreciated!
  17. Both Deonte and Andre have been good so far. Hopefully the Bills can hang onto both.
  18. Gruden was trying to talk up the Bills about how Preston came in and filled in nicely for Kiko, but Gruden failed miserably by botching his last name and by saying the entire starting O-line is the same as last year.
  19. Some positives from the game last night (in no order): Taylor had another good night, especially since he had none of the starting RB's and WR's. He was 4-4 on 3rd down, had some good passes and made plays with his feet again. Jerry Hughes looked good against the Browns probowl LT, Joe Thomas as he beat him for a sack and was regularly in the backfield. Dareus continued to wreak havoc against a very good Browns O-line. Goodwin made some nice plays, but I feel he is just like Roscoe Parrish, injury prone. Darby had a nice bounce back week as he had two INT's. As the game wore on, I thought Manuel started to look better. I don't know if that had anything to do with the Browns third stringers being put in? Manuel threw good passes on the TD and 2pt conversion. I thought Chris Gragg made some good plays for Manuel as well as Andre Davis. I like Greg Roman's imagination of having both Henderson and Kouandjio on the field at the same time. Roman had Kouandjio lined up as a TE for an extra blocker on a few occasions. Negatives: The backup O-line. The interior of the backups were horrific! I felt sorry for Manuel as he was constantly getting hammered. The backup RB's. I know the Bills are on their 6th, 7th and 8th string RB's (unfortunately, that's not an exaggeration), but they were constanly getting stuffed for no gain. Duke Williams had a rough night. He seemed to do a lot better under Schwartz, but seems lost under Ryan/Thurman. Jon Gruden's announcing! "There's a guy named Nickel, playing at the Nickel." "The Bills have all five starting O-linemen back." "Preston Smith off the field for Kiko Alonso."
  20. It's just part of the negotiation process. One puts a bid in that below value, while the other puts in a bid that's above value and they keep exchanging bids until an agreement can be reached. This is not going to be settled quickly, as evident by contracts for Jerry Hughes, Dez Bryant and Russell Wilson. It's nothing to panic over either right now. The Bills can use the franchise tag on Dareus if a deal is not done in time. Players threaten to hold out all the time, but deals are usually done right at the deadlines.
