  1. If that doesn't sound like a man resigned to his fate this year I don't know what does.
  2. Ravens starting their annual team decimated by injuries early.
  3. Maybe you change change your name to Aristocat and perform the "Everybody...Everybody...Everybody wants to be a cat!" song and dance for us? 🤣 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rrXR6n0RTY
  4. If the greatest defensive mind and coach in NFL history hasn't figured one out and has lost by 29, 29 and 30 points in his last 3 games that don't involve 70+ mph winds, along with 2 games that didn't have the Bills punt an one that was the only perfect offensive game in NFL history, I don't give much of a chance to the other teams in figuring one out. There are no good options to defend Allen, only ones that hurt less at the time.
  5. We visited Minneapolis a few weeks ago and stayed in Saint Paul not far from the downtown area...must say a VERY underrated city with a lot going on...also did not realize it was such a big city, coming in 16th in metro area just behind Seattle and ahead of San Diego. Mall of America was unreal...literally has an amusement park inside it. Sculpture park was cool and the Wabasha Street Caves were kinda bad ass... Buffalo actually has a weird connection to Minneapolis as well...through the mid 1800s and into the early 1900s, Minneapolis was the flour milling capital of the world, however in 1930, that title was passed to Buffalo which was a title we held through the early 1990s. Learned that at the Mill Museum...
  6. I had no idea there was so much that went into getting a ball ready for Allen and how you can't simply use the balls out of the box. If this is something all equipment managers have to do I am wondering why there isn't a company that does this(along with probably several options based on what various players like and what equipment managers do to them) and then sells them the balls in game ready condition. Seems like a potentially very profitable business.
  7. Yes, essentially....more to it than that with the Bills moving up to 13 by trading Cordy Glenn to the Bengals, but the extra pick helped them get Tremaine Edmunds
  8. Well...one of the key issues with roids is muscle/tendon/ligament issues as the muscles get too big too fast for the tendons and ligaments to be able to withstand the extra force...tendons and ligaments take far longer to grow and build up properly to handle the force required. Not saying his potential pec tear would be a perfect example of the type of injury that would be more common with that...but it's the type of injury that would be more common with that.
  9. What do they need to get through? Josh is going to be Josh. Just because player A got hurt playing a certain style doesn't mean player B will playing the same style. Also what should be mentioned is Cam used to get absolutely hammered while in the pocket even after the plays to the point it was joked that Newton never got roughing the passer calls even when he got lit up late. Allen for the most part does not and doesn't take sacks either. Newton's career sack percentage is around 7%... Allen's is 5.58% and should continue dropping as he has gone from 8 and 7.9% his first 2 years to 4.3 and 3.9% his last two years. He is among the least stacked QBs in the NFL over the past few seasons and 7th least in terms of active QBs career wise. Those hits are much more likely to injure him than him running. IMHO, Allen could do a better job not taking hits at times but you also don't want to make him start thinking out there and trying to coach what makes Josh Josh out of him...
  10. Haha...it looks like his midsection is really starting to widen and the love handles coming in strong. Or else that shirt makes it appear that way and if that isn't the case he should toss that shirt in the trash unless it's a "Dad Bod" creator shirt.
  11. Man Kurt really starting to get the "Dad Bod" going...
  12. He could have hit him way worse if he wanted to...could have de-cleated him. I don't see it being dirty...I see it the other way, that he exercised restraint...he didn't aim for his knees, he didn't level him, he simply got in his way as Burrow was sprinting to try and make a tackle on one of his numerous INTs I am assuming.
  13. I mean so much to love in there... Miller is amazing with the energy and fun he brings but also pumping his teammates up and showing them love...it's like people gravitate towards him... Love it on the sidelines when Allen stiff arms Scott and Edmunds said "We told you, don't blink" like you never know when Allen is gonna do something amazing... Him pumping up Rousseau and telling him to take over and he believes in him... Miller is going to take us to a whole new level...not only with his ability but with his presence...very clear his teammates are almost captivated and I don't want to say in awe of him, but it's like they follow him like he is a star. Also Tre being Tre and giving Miller a glute rub when he asked him about it on the sidelines was hilarious
  14. Johnson doesn't meet the minimum requirements to make the career sack percentage list but if he did, he would be at the top of it...he was sacked over his career at a 14.8% rate, although with the Bills over the 4 years he was here, that was "only" 14.2%. Interesting to see the 2 active QB's that are highest on the sack percentage list are Tyrod Taylor and Deshaun Watson. Also interesting that the Bills had 2 of the top 4 least sacked QBs in NFL history in Jack Kemp at Daryle Lamonica. In terms of active players, Mahomes is the least sacked QB at 3.83% followed by Brady and Derek Carr. Allen is 7th amongst starting QB's at 5.58%, but that number is likely to continue dropping as he has gone from 8% and 7.6% over his first two years in the NFL to 4.3% and 3.9% his last two years. Another interesting note...if for whatever reason Keenum has to play extended time, he is sacked at a career rate slightly less than Allen...5.44%.
  15. Also still one of the highest sacked QB's in terms of sack percentage in NFL History
  16. Watched a little bit of it and made me realize just how bad those teams were offensively. Even with Moulds who was still a beast, they looked anemic.
  17. The Dolphins? Not scary at all. They scored 20 points. 13 on offense. Ravens had 64 yards of total offense against the Jets near halftime and were struggling badly. Chiefs, yes they looked pretty amazing.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if McDermott knew this but chose not to do it. He often talks about not only winning, but winning the right way. McD seems to have a lot of respect for the game and his opponents, I get the sense he would believe if he can't line up and play football and win that way then they don't deserve to win. I think he would probably have been sick to his stomach if he did it and had to resort to winning that way...especially in front of his good friend and mentor Andy Reid.
  19. I just don't get why people think this is Madden where you can just take a player and put them wherever and they play the same. Let's start why this is a terrible idea. You are taking a starting DE off the field to replace them with a backup MLB to play an MLB out of position at DE. Literally this alone makes absolutely zero sense. There are different keys and different roles for a DE versus an MLB. Edmunds would be learning these from scratch. Edmunds is not a great pass rusher It makes no sense from a defensive standpoint
  20. Miami looks like the same team we trounce by 20-30 pts every year. Their OLine looks suspect. They love blitzing and don't get there way too often leaving huge running lanes for Allen and man coverage that will get exploited. Tua looks meh at best. I just don't see them as anything special at all.
  21. Dak looks terrible, TB looks like they are trying to run the ball all game...Bowles is not a great HC. I think their offense is going to take a step back.
