  1. I liken it to a good lawyer who finds a character flaw in a witness and just repeatedly brings up that flaw to get all of the witnesses testimony thrown out. Walsh said there was a tape of the Super Bowl walkthrough. No tape turned up. Therefore, everything that Walsh says "has already been heard" or he's just "looking for his 15 minutes". Nevermind finding out what did actually happen and releasing that information to the public. I'm sure in the next few days, more information will trickle out (albeit from Spector, not Goodell), but nothing that will make the league look worse than it does already.
  2. Did anything happen today? Didn't see anything on ESPN yet, but I think that hearing is supposed to be today. Also, I agree 100% with that. It's such a bold attempt to cover their tracks that it doesn't even make sense. The article that was put up the other day about the questions Goodell SHOULD ask was a great one, but I doubt that those are the questions that he will ask Walsh. Did anyone tell you to be sneaky with this or hide it? Who did you answer to? Who else on the team watched the tapes and when? etc, etc....
  3. It's just another example of the liberal media hearing the word 'gun' and tripping over themselves to make a story out of it. There were no charges, even by the person who the gun was allegedly pulled on. Look at it, just on a micro scale. There are 6 active posts on this "story" on TSW now. Nobody was injured, nobody was arrested, no crime was committed. I fail to see how this is a blow to anyones character, unless something further comes out of it.
  4. No he shouldn't. Nobody's pressing charges. Why would they suspend someone based on a news story??
  5. Nice... I really think that we're going to be a legitimate force this year. It seems like the stars have alligned for us when you consider that we have one of the weaker schedules in the league, our starters will be back from last year, plus we've made key pickups in the areas that we needed. I really think that we're moving in the right direction, moreso than we have since this decade started. Given the youth in our lineup, it's a great year to have a weaker schedule (per the preseason rankings).
  6. They'll now get a bunch of deaf Pats fans to sit on the sidelines to read lips. No, really...
  7. ...come on, just the tip. I promise!
  8. I think he's still got some life in him if he can stay healthy. That hamstring injury last year killed his whole season.
  9. I'm SURE that he didn't know what was going on and should have been paying closer attention...
  10. Loves: Bills Phillies Sabres Yankees Penn State Temple U Pitt Hates: Pats and everything about Boston including the Red Sox Dolphins (and pretty much everything about Miami) Senators NY Rangers Notre Dame
  11. I think that he'll fill the role at WLB for the Bills for the rest of his career. I think that we got him in his prime and aren't going to let him go.
  12. Sort of a boring poll. It looks like he just put last years end to the beginning of next season.
  13. "If Al Sharpton is itching to picket something, he should organize a protest outside Malone's house, since the National Fatherhood Initiative says two out of three African-American children grow up without their father in the home." How true. I'd love it if this kid became a star in the NFL.
  14. Hey, if nothing else, at least it brings up our side to these other media outlets. I think that the general concensus is that Buffalo fans have been through some crap in the past, but we don't deserve this. At least that's what I gather in Philly when people ask me about it. I doubt that many news outlets will take the side of money over Bills fans, sans all the jokes about OJ and Jim Kelly.
  15. I heard him a couple years ago. He showed up drunk and cussed like a sailor. Pass.
  16. I say that McCargo has a breakout year this year. The defensive personell has improved since last year, but the scheme has stayed the same. I think that he'll be comfortable in there and, with the improved rotations, he'll have 10-14 sacks since Stroud will draw double teams on most plays. I think that the DE production will be much improved this year as well. It will be the cyclical improvments to the DLine that will be most surprising for Buffalo this year, especially after the year they had last year.
  17. Antoine Winfield is the one that I miss the most. I always thought that for an undersized corner, being one of the best tacklers on the team was pretty impressive. I think that he could have been helpful the past couple years.
  18. See Tom Brady to Wes Welker
  19. That was actually me in my unibomber costume. Sorry for the confusion...
