    physically, and mentally, the easiest position is G. because they either help or get help by the C. plus they never snap the ball nor make a call. and some of the more successful teams absolutely demand their C handle the nose by himself.............

    i think it is time rules. if the kick is out of the EZ no clock is run off. touchback. clock starts though once the kick has travelled 10 yds and hits the field of play. so no chance for a regular play. patterson beeing dangerous may also plays a role
