What is with all of the EJ is the worst QB to ever play football over reation on here? Yes he was mediocre in the first half, but the pick was because CHandler fell, the fumble from Spiller was due to a well placed helmet, and the fumble by EJ was due to lack of blocking. Besides that, there was only about 10 different play calls during the game...same calls right and left. Pretty vanilla play calling... All of this with 10 starts under his belt....Trust me I get it. I've been suffering with you for the last 14 years, but lets give them a shot when the games count. GO BILLS!

I don't feel the price (1 first round draft pick) is overpaying. If, and I mean IF, he turns out ot be as good as some are saying then it would be a great pick. One of our other members asked if we would swap picks and give up a first for Larry Fitzgerald....my answer is a resounding YES. Watkins has a lot to live up to in order to be mentioned in the same breath a Fitzgerald, but he was just as highly touted coming out of Pitt. Time will tell... GO BILLS

Great idea. I've been for this for a long time although I don't live in Buffalo any longer. However, I have been to quite a few other downtown stadiums (baseball and football) and they all seem to work. Finding a way to keep the thing going during the offseason might be the sticking point. Maybe combine the stadium with a convention center or entertainment area?

I think most of us expected the BILLS to be left in a trust with the intent that the team would be sold and that the family didn't want anything to do with it. The fact that she has been announced as the sole owner makes me hope that they will not be sold. GO BILLS

We will find out next week when he hits the open market what he is truely worth. If the Bills have the best offer and he still doesn't sign, we will know he didn't want to play here.

Your argument is invalid. Tennessee or Jax are not progressing because they signed these two players...there was actually little or no improvement at all. If what was reported is true (3yrs $30m) how are you not satisfied with the Bills offer? Keep overpaying for talent in the wrong areas and they will end up like the Raiders. Oh wait..... Agree with keeping talent....however after watching Whaley's interview I am comfortable that the FO did what they could do to convince him to stay. Should they have over paid and gave him $14M? Whoever said they would use the money saved from Levitre on Byrd? Some crackpot message board post? I never read that from a credible source.

Not sure spending $10M on a safety was gonna make the team winners either....On the plus side, we do have a bunch of cap space and they are not afraid to spend it. Not necessarily on the right talent, but they still spend. In any event, I would spend that money shoring up the run defense... When they become a winning team it won't be a problem keeping talent......i know, i know.....it's been 14 years but spending $10M on a safety is ludicrous...

I agree. Said the same thing to a friend IRT Hacketts play calling sometimes. Here's what bothered me. The whole game they are doing their best to "protect" their rookie QB and did a pretty good job at that. Why risk it at that point? I like that they are conceding to a FG but you have to have a better play in that situation......like a QB sneak

I was thinking the same thing and hoping that last game against the Pats* would be a meaningful game. To me, the teams fighting for the second wild card are all about the same, including the Bills. I expect the Chiefs will implode after the Bills beat them Sunday and they finish 9-7.

I have to agree. It has been several years since I made the trip back to B-Lo for a game. I catch an away game every year though. I was pleasantly surprised by the crowd, atmosphere, and game day experience I had with my family. I made a decision to take my 5 and 8 year old sons with me and they had a blast. From playing football at the tailgate to going over to the field house It is something neither of them will forget. Not to mention the win over the Super Bowl Champs!! Go Bills!!

If they wish to save the season they go all out to get him....EJ out at least 8 weeks...Freeman pretty similar QB who is smart enough to learn enough of the offense and not panic when Def brings pressure. For those who say he hasn't won a game in TB I challenge you to look at the overall performance of that team. The only QBs in the league who may have won one is PM, TB* or DB.....just sayin
