LeSean McCoy allegations

Quick question... Was it stated that anything was stolen? I'm thinking jewelery might try to get pawned if it was a targeting robbery by someone not in the McCoy camp. Doubtful he wants jewelery back for the immediate pawn shop value? Can that practicing lawyer from GA on the board take a quick spin by the local pawnshops to see if anything has recently been pawned. Thanks. -

I'm counting on this thread getting much larger this was when it was about 45 pages, before the "shared home" discussion got really rolling. -

You tell me @Estelle Getty He'd be a good locker room guy though since he is good friends with McCarrons wife, Katherine Webb. -

NO. Have you seen him on the show Splash, where he attempted to be a competitive diver. The answer is NO, he'd be tackled whereever the ball was handed to him. -

This McCoy/Cordon Scenario will be a Law and Order SVU episode next season guaranteed. They just say the place of the crime was an upper west side apartment and change the names of the involved parties. It will be good TV too, it has it all. Famous local athlete, potential setup, protesting fans of the local team. The only question is who will the get to play the McCoy character? -

I talked to my professor he said reading this thread will count as credits towards my online Law Degree at the University of Phoenix. Also just an FYI, Larry Fitzgerald is sitting in on the class as well. -

As details slowly emerge, this has the potential to be a HUGE thread. I'll set the under/over 245 pages. What are you taking? -
IT's finally starting - pro football!

If anyone watching the Manziel game should keep an eye on Calgary WR Davaris Daniels. I think he could make an impact for the Bills if given a shot. -
Josey Jewell Maurice Hurst (if Bills Medical cleared him) Equaminious St. Brown I know offensive line is in need of help, but I don't see the players at the oline that could help even with depth. These three could be impact players even if we already got a DT and a LB in previous rounds. Phillips and Hurst would be solid on passing downs when Star is off the field especially after this season which I think will be Kyle's last.

Bills Have a Standing Offer for LB Preston Brown

Brown cant do anything for me now. Edmunds, Vanderesch and Milano as a starting group sounds great. Preferred this over a reach QB at 12. -
With the 12th Pick Bills select

I'm on board with a LB at 12 want Edmunds there. But I'm. Other stopping there, I'm doubling down at 22 with Vanderesch. -

Would love... Edmunds at 12 Vander Esch at 21 or 53 -
Additions you like to see from here on out?
iccrewman112 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll go the unpopular route and say no QB in Round 1 and just roll with McCarron. Re-Sign: EJ Gaines and Deonte Thompson Sign: Justin Pugh and Terrelle Pryor Draft: 12. Tremaine Edmunds LB Virgina Tech 22. Roquan Smith, LB Georgia/Leighton Vander Esch, LB, Boise St. 53.Connor Williams, OT, Texas 56. Harrison Phillips, DL, Stanford 65. Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame 96. Josh Adams, RB, Notre Dame Notes: I like Sony Michell in Round 2 if either of the guys I listed are gone. If he is selected then Josh Adams could be replaced with the best lineman available. -

Week 8 Game Balls vs. Oakland
iccrewman112 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Haha. I'd rather have a cartoon stampede go on the jumbotron signifying for the fans to stomp like crazy. I know at Notre Dame on big third downs it would get loud and one of the main reasons was the crowd would take their keys out of their pockets and shake them. Felt like it made it 20% louder. -

Absolutely college atmosphere with the team. I have always wondered why the Bills don't have a band they keep the crowd even more into it and make it more fun. Does the NFL allow bands? I know the Colts use to have one long ago. -
Brandon Beane already top 3 worst GM's in bills history
iccrewman112 replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one mentions that perhaps an owner didn't want to pay Marcel 10 million dollars for being near non-existent on the field. Dead cap hit is different than actually a hit to the wallet and the bottom line. If Pegs came to Beane and said "get rid of this guy." Could you fault him? What of it was your 10 million dollars? -
FYI...There were only six others in the league last year. Do you think there are more than 7 linebackers that fit your description? Just like RB by committee there are LB corps by committee. Thumpers on run situations, and athletes on third down.

Possible 2nd Round Safety - Obi Melifonwu
iccrewman112 replied to iccrewman112's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I too like safety in Round 2, if the measurables get Obi off the board in round 1 then Budda Baker is my choice in Round 2. He is the opposite of Obi in terms of size and instincts. Much smaller, but far better instincts, always seems to be around the ball. -
Possible 2nd Round Safety - Obi Melifonwu
iccrewman112 replied to iccrewman112's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he'll have some off the field issues that will drop him to 44. Assuming that doesn't happen. I would hope he is a guy the Bills would take if they were able find a trade partner to drop back to the mid-20s (which i know all bills fans are clamoring for, who doesnt love a trade down). -
It looks more and more to me that both Hooker and Adams will be gone by the time the Bills pick. Not sure where I would want them to go with that pick yet WR is a possibility or CB if Lattimore is available. But I am liking the Bills targeting Obi Melifonwu more and more in the 2nd round. Not sure he will fall that far as his combine numbers were great. I have never been sold on Jabril Peppers in the top 2 rounds and even less so after seeing Melifonwu having better numbers in all categories and 5 inches taller and 10 pounds heavier. This is the size individual to match up on large tight ends in man to man. Should be able to cover ground on deep balls in the secondary. Are there any UConn fans who have seen him play and can comment on him? Height 6-4 Weight 224 lbs. 40 yard dash - 4.40s Vertical - 44" (a number he was upset with) Broad Jump 11'9" (12'3" is the record I think) From NFL.com Player Profile http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/obi-melifonwu?id=2558189 OVERVIEW Obi Melifonwu (pronounced OH-bee mel-un-FON-woo) has been a four-year starter at UConn. The Massachusetts area high school star redshirted his first year with the Huskies, and became the team's starting free safety in 2013 (70 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles). He started 11 games the next season (75 stops, 3.5 TFL, three PBU), and 12 as a junior (88 tackles, two TFL, two INT, five PBU). Melifonwu was a first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection and his team's top tackler in 2016, making 118 hits, 2.5 for loss, leading the team with four interceptions and breaking up three other passes. STRENGTHS Elite size with premium athletic traits that should show up at combine testing. Four-year starter. Sharp focus when ball is in the air. Takes path to the ball with undercut of the route at the last second. Plus hand-eye coordination to flip the field with interceptions. Former cornerback who has the athleticism to cover matchup tight ends and some big slots. Posted six interceptions over last two seasons. Uses big frame to body-up seam-runners and constrict their windows. Downhill tackling machine. Plus range with a wide net to bring runners down once he gets his arms into them. Body-up hitter. Drastically reduced penalties totals over junior and senior season. WEAKNESSES Leggy and gets feet bundled up when asked to turn and sprint. Lacks desired instincts and will play with slow eyes at times. Has to see ball in the air before charging over to help on deep throws. Inconsistent with coverage responsibilities from high safety. Takes time to diagnose play-action. Rub routes found him near goal line. Can take inefficient paths to the ball that get him there a step too late. Would benefit from high-pointing rather than waiting on throws. SOURCES TELL US "He's a freak. He's going to blow away the combine. He's fast and will post some of the best vertical and broad numbers at his position. He's going to get a lot better in the pros and he has that elite size that will get him overdrafted." -- AFC Pro Personnel Director BOTTOM LINE Big and athletic, he may lack the coverage qualities and instincts needed to work as a "last line of defense" player in a pass-happy division. Melifonwu is an effective downhill tackler who has the ability to match up against tight ends and make a living near the line of scrimmage. His football instincts aren't up to par, but the size and traits will be extremely enticing for teams who covet traits first.

Has any team contacted EJ Manuel about a tryout?
iccrewman112 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For starters the pay is Canada is nothing compared to the NFL. Nothing. A lot of players who havent met the minimum for the pension are looking to get back on NFL teams to count toward years of service. Thus, players are better off staying in shape and waiting for injuries to happen and roster spots to open up and sign late in the off-season or even mid season. Also, if a player goes North and struggles (for any number of reasons) then it looks bad to future employers as "they should have dominated CFL" while if they get thrown into the fire midseason in the NFL, then poor performance seems to be "more understandable" because of the circumstances.
