  1. Exactly... Like I said earlier...Average NFL CB is 5-11 - 195 with 4.48 speed, a 36" vertical, and 16 reps on the bench... Good luck to the average NFL CB who has to cover a healthy DK Metcalf...Because a healthy DK Metcalf can absolutely ball out... That's all I'm saying...Good luck...?
  2. If he's sliding...And I'm not convinced he is...But if...It's because of the injuries and the injuries alone... Anyone who thinks it's because of his play, the player he is, or a cone drill is kidding themselves...?
  3. I mean...WTF do you want him to do schedule as well? ? One TD vs Alabama, 2 vs Auburn, 2 vs Kentucky, one vs Miss St, 125 yds vs Cal with a TD, 107 yds vs Arkansas in 2017 and one catch for 49 yds when he got hurt, a TD vs FSU in his only catch as a Freshman... He was a Red Shirt Soph who got hurt...Twice...He played who he played and when he played he was very good... I get that you don't like the kid...Fine and noted...We'll see...?
  4. So...He turns slower based on the competition? His athletic skills change due to who he is on the field with?... Look at the play...Does that look like someone who is turning like an 18 wheeler in a cul-de-sac? Good grief...?
  5. I think categorizing Jonah as a future All-Pro is a massive stretch... Jonah was a very good College LT, maybe the best in College football last year...He's a real good technician who will be solid, no question...But All-Pro? That's basically saying he's going to be the best LT in football...That's a MAJOR leap considering his comps are more in the Riley Reiff, Bryan Bulaga area... I like Jonah...I really do...But we'll see...There are plenty of evaluators out there who think he'll eventually land at OG...So...One step at a time...?
  6. They could do something like #9 and #74 for #14, #45, and #137...That's pretty close... I don't see why the Bills would do it unless #45 was coming back in the package... But maybe that's just me...?
  7. Jonah Williams - Not that I don't think he's a good player...But I'm not sure if he's an NFL LT, and I think #9 is just too steep for him...?
  8. I like him... I don't think the Bills will Draft him...?
  9. Here's the analytics I can't get out of my mind concerning DK... He's 6-3 3/8 - 228 - 4.33 Speed - 40.5 vertical - 27 Reps The average NFL CB is 5-11- 195 - 4.48 Speed - 36.25 Vertical - 15 Reps Now...Numbers mean nothing unless you can apply them on the field...But those numbers are exactly why when DK was on the field...He was dominating... You can't teach what he's got...You can teach what he's not yet...As long as you're not looking for him to be Cole Beasley...?
  10. Said no DB who tried to cover him in College... Ever...?
  11. They shock the world and go DK... A guy can dream...?
  12. Perfectly said! You know he's been my #1 guy for the Bills for a while now...And the truth is had it not been for that injury and a slow cone drill there is no way in hell he would get close to #9 overall... Those things may very well prove to be a blessing for the Bills...We'll see...?
  13. I always worry when any prospect talks about wings... That is what Marcell Dareus has done to my psyche...I now expect Metcalf to show up for Camp at a robust 345...?
  14. Just a heads up folks...Gramling is coming on One Bills Live at 1 PM... Lets see if they bring this up...
  15. I want to preface this by saying I like Jonah...He's the best technician I've seen on the O-line in quite some time...His footwork is excellent...He's a damn good College player... But... Of the potential picks for the Bills at #9 he is the guy that excites me the absolute least... He's going to get manhandled at times...He's 6-4-302 but looks lighter...I'm not sure about him at OG going up against those monster DT's either... I do think he's in the Riley Reiff, Bulaga mold...That's not a bad thing...But...IMHO there will be better options at #9 guaranteed...If the Bills were to go O-Line at #9 I would hope it's Taylor or Dillard...I think they have much better upside...?
  16. The comment was more about the panic of "we have to have Position X at #9 because of the impact on 2019..." Personally I'm pretty much always in favor of trading down...Though I do admit this year, if he's available at #9, I would take DK and walk away thrilled... But honestly I feel it's a bit moot with this bunch...I'm assuming they'll stay put and take the guy they like most at #9...Or even trade up a spot or two...Has nothing to do with what I prefer...They don't seem too eager to embrace the trade down philosophy...But we'll see...?
  17. I hope he's just buzzed...What it would cost to get up there I am not in favor of...Period...?
  18. Agreed... I do think folks get a little too enamoured with that Top 10/1st Rd pick being the be all, end all... The truth is good players are Drafted all over...Of the PFF Top 12 DT's in 2018 5 were 1st Rd picks, 2 were 2nd, 2 were 3rd, 1 4th, 1 5th, and one undrafted...The Bills have 10 picks this year and they will get help later in the Draft...They've actually had some success beyond the 1st round recently...Dawkins dropped off a little last year, but he's a late 2nd Rd pick starting at LT in the NFL...A healthy Taron Johnson is one of the best slot CB's in the NFL and he was a 4th Rd Pick... Matt Milano was a 5th Rd pick...Robert Foster was undrafted... I think the Bills need to feel they are getting the best player possible at #9...Regardless of position...We are all going to have our favorites...And if they go against my favorites they are going to hear about it...? Seriously though...They need to take the guy they love...?
  19. So... No one can possibly know...But there is no way they are taking DK?...Even though no one inside will ever let the info out?... I will tell you this...DK is being dinged by people who either A) Did not bother to watch him, dig in and grind, and are over-concentrated on cone drill times...Or...B) People who watched him and don't know what the hell they are watching, or refuse to consider the many, many factors that contributed to what they are watching... Translation...Do not take my word...I know for certain The Draft Network is stacked with Scouts that DO watch...Multiple games..They understand the nuances of the position...They know what they are seeing and they also know the areas where a prospect can improve through NFL Coaching...DK is the #5 overall Prospect on their consensus board...That can't be overstated...The Bills pick 9th...He's a top 5 prospect on many boards...he's CLEAN off the field...He's dedicated and LOVES football...He's a massively hard worker...He's unassuming but super confident...He's 100% a process-type prospect...100%...That is not to say whatsoever that he is a finished project...Or even close to being finished...But anyone who thinks there are all these things DK cannot do, outside of being a cat-quick Cole Beasley type of slot ...They are just flat wrong... I agree no one knows...I completely disagree that DK is not fully in the conversation at #9 overall...They may very well go another way...But he's in the conversation...? This is 4 different Scouting Reports on DK...4 different sets of eyes...1 basic conclusion...Stud...https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/d-k-metcalf
