Hopefully good for a wild card.
  2. If you want a debate about BAD sports talk let's have it. Across North America it is terrible. Really slap dash and poor IMO. Way too much yakking from presenters with badly researched opinions and wayyy too often it's just a single presenter giving asinine views with lots of silent parts (Cowherd and Rome being prime examples). I miss one thing about the UK as much as friends and family: BBC Radio 5 Live.
  3. That stat is as bad as I thought Florence was at times last year.
  4. Tears Willie gives me the willies more than Tears Achilles.
  5. The only rankings that matter are the divisional standings at the end of the year.
  6. I agree to a point - but the NFL is a business, so at an individual level you have to think you can be the guy at an organizational level it has to be clear that if you have invested in a guy like the Bills have, he's going to be #1. Too much money invested in Fitz to think VY can or should compete. Also - chemistry - Fitz has it with his guys. VY is a bit of a dick.
  7. This is worrying. it says something about mental state and capacity. Reid was clearly letting the guy down gently and taking the easy way out of cutting the dude. I'm not against the Bills bringing him in, but is HAS to be as a backup so as to avoid the inevitable clamor for him to be the starter when Fitz has a bad game or when the national media decide to anoint him. This is an opportunity for the Bills to permanently redefine VY's role in the league and only if they can do that should he be brought on board.
  8. Don't care if he sucks. Best name on the team. A Mack Strong kind of a name. This kid has a great name. It's not a name with any length - but it's strong and looks and sounds real impressive. He'll sell a lot of Jerseys. He should be the only player announced each week. That's how strong his name is.
  9. The emotional connection is as strong for me as it is for you RTB.
  10. *Token Post* Pretty pleased with this draft so far. Big men always good.
  11. 20 years a Bills fan this season. My first Home Opener! Save me a space at Hammers for the TBD Tailgate. Sign me up for the T-Shirt. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  12. Best they had on offer. That or 136 but they were lower down (row 10). I wanted seats in the 130s from Row 20 or back. Considered the Rockpile or endzones but in the end I've waited so long to get tickets why not pay the premium and get the good seats right off the bat. I guess in future seniority will allow me to move closer to the 50.
  13. been toying with that... but I decided to keep ...in England and just add "now in Canada" as my status.
  14. I'm a happy man today. The Bills called to confirm that ticket prices wouldn't change for Season Tickets and they could go ahead and assign me seats. I will be sitting in 131, Row 24, Seats 1&2 for the forthcoming NFL Season. To those of you sat around me - you will know me in three ways. 1) I have a Union Jack/Bills Logo Flag. Unmistakeable. 2) For every first down I will shout loudly "Move the Chains. Mooove the Chains. ISAIDMOVETHECHAINS!" 3) If I have company, I will while the Bills are on D periodically shout "Hit Em Harrrrrd" and my friends will reply equally loudly "Take the Ball". This concludes a 20 year journey to this point for me that started in Wembley Stadium in July 1992 and has seen me travel over 50,000 miles to see just 14 games (3 in pre-season) with an overall Win-Loss score of 4-10 (3-7 Regular Season). I have relocated my family to Waterloo, Ontario in part so I can own season tickets for at least one year of my life. I've mad great friends through this place and through the Bills and I look forward to seeing you more often for the 2012 season. Here's hoping the Bills can find a way to win some more for me too...! My home games so far: Wins: Philadelphia 92*, Carolina 01, Miami 02, New England 11 Losses: Denver 98, New England 05, San Diego 06, Atlanta 07*, Tennessee 07*, San Francisco 08, Houston 09, Tennessee 11, Miami 11 (* denotes preseason)
  15. When did Fitpatrick ever manage to be accurate? NEVER. Why is this a surprise right now? For everyone that drank the Kool-Aid - go back and watch the first half of the first three games this year. Despite the wins, Fitzpatrick was off in those starts. We scraped wins despite his errant ways early on.
  16. When we start actually playing in a 3-4 and it's not working then I'll start calling for a change. Look on the field. In base D we are NOT running a 3-4. Count the down linemen.
