I hate holdouts. But Revis has to do what is right for him - namely masses of cash now, because tomorrow he could break his leg in practise and never play again. His original deal worked out far better for the Jets than it did him, and in my view he is right to see to at least balance that out. He's the best corner in football and probably deserves to be paid as such. I just hope the saga drags on - we could use the Jets being unstable.

I think the AS decison is more about rebuilding than it is an endorsement of Maybin. I haven't seen much, but what I have Maybin hasn't lit it up. He's raw, transitioning to a new position and needs to get NFL ready. He was a bad pick, always a project, and we will see that this year. In a year - maybe the situation is different, but I can't see him delivering much this year.

Nice article - but too much Kool Aid. Offense might be better but not markedly - we have made no appreciable improvements to the OL which means more waiting for development. Coach changes are good - but they need players and there are too many open positions to expect delivery right off the bat. I love they way we are going - but we need more years to make it count. Nix and Gailey say 3 years - I expect them to deliver.
