  1. He’s bigger. He’s most definitely not faster and more agile. Campbell may be more instinctive, and is certainly more proven to be able to get off blocks, a more natural MLB if you will. Sanders is a little lighter, just as tall, and certainly moves better. I think he’s got the higher upside, but maybe a lower floor. Really depends on what they are looking for. I think Sanders is more of an Edmunds clone (not exactly but more stylistic match), and Campbell is more of a thumper.
  2. He’s 6’4, pretty sure they can add 7-10 lbs in the weight room. There’s posters here convinced Bernard is the answer, he’s SMALL. Personally really like him as an option. He’s played more OLB and isn’t huge either, but damn he’s an explosive athlete.
  3. So this leaves only 3-4 obvious spots they need to add through FA/draft. They absolutely need a MLB. They also need TE depth. Competition at RT (or even another swing tackle) would be a nice add. And although not completely necessary, I think we’d all agree we’d like to see a WR added. Personally I’d like it to be someone capable of making an impact, either an early pick or a vet starter. We technically have enough depth already.
  4. I’d be shocked if this was the pick. If Robinson is there, I could see it being possible. The value would be hard to turn down. Gibbs is really good, but he’s also similar to Cook. I’m not sure he’s an every down back.
  5. Trotter was pretty dry and rarely used. Wasn’t really a fan of Rachel either, except twice a year when she’d perform an original comedic song.
  6. Nothing has happened yet. Breath.
  7. Super Bowl contenders, defensive coach who has had success with safeties…plus the safety market was saturated and he lost the game of musical chairs. Pair that with some patience and perhaps good negotiation skills/good reputation and voila. Or maybe just Beane looks super cool in a pair of shades.
  8. What are the chances this random not only suddenly has sources within the Bills but also the Chiefs or Cardinals? This guy is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame after guessing that a FA visit would turn into a signing. I still hope we get this done, but I put zero stock in what he says.
  9. Not sure Bean’s comments mean anything, as he’s obviously not going to say he’s in on it and get us even more lathered up. He’d lose leverage. Plus it could be considered tampering. Obviously doesn’t mean he’s in either.
  10. Everybody taking the Trubisky! Love it!
  11. Hoping it’s a minimum deal that doesn’t impact our cap space.
  12. Nope. Unless he seriously bulks up and changes his skillset. Bernard is more similar to Milano, an undersized coverage LB.
  13. Really starting to think this allows us to use him as the 2nd LB/3rd safety on passing downs and employ a more traditional 2 down thumper at MLB.
  14. Interesting add. Really curious how he fits in, probably just a depth piece.
  15. I think the Ravens have the right to match. If they choose not to, then they are owed the 2 1st rounders. So a team could conceivably offer more compensation to get the Ravens to let him go.
  16. So no Poonah??? Damn that was a struggle against auto correct!
  17. I think they’ll continue to add a few guys on vet min deals. They’ve got a few real dollars to spend, which I’m hopeful go to the Hopkins move. If not, I still think we make at least a small splash with that remaining cap room (LB or maybe Poonam Ford?).
  18. Technically we did it to get under the cap. But I agree, SOMETHING is cooking.
  19. I think the Chiefs are in a similar situation to the Bills. We are paying Von, Milano, Tre, Micah, and Poyer. I don’t have the actual numbers but I suspect we spend significantly more on D. Not to mention we’ve kicked cap down the curb a few times already which is impacting us. The Bengals are totally different. The owner won’t buy himself more cap space with restructures. They also have to pay Burrow, Chase, and Tee. They’ll struggle to keep that team together. At the end of the day, we’ll be fine provided Terry and Kim keep writing huge checks.
  20. See I’m torn on this line of thought. On one hand, I get the idea, you want to ensure you get the player. However, it’s probably not the best way to negotiate. You’re basically saying you’re willing to give more, so why on earth would the other GM accept your offer. I’d think you’d want to make them believe they’ve got your best and final, otherwise they’ll keep pushing for that little more you’d be willing to give.
  21. Some panic, terror, and mass amounts of speculation. Not much else really.
