I seem to remember in Preseason there was talk of Maybin playing SOME at LB. It would not surprise me to see him at LB on occasion.

He also has a FOOT injury.........................not a good thing for a WR. Some players are never the same after having foot problems.

Trent looked GOOD on TWO Drives PERIOD. The rest of the game he was mediocre. If he could have at least sustained a few drives maybe the defense would have had something left in the 4th Quarter. Listening to Bucs radio today, everyone is saying "Well Edwards is NO Romo". The Bucs held the Boys to 6 points until there were less than 2 min. left in the 1st half. I think the game next week could go either way but if you guys at the game give the Bills homefield advantage the Bills will pull it out. Go Bills.

Gruden added a few VITAL missing pieces to the team as well as an OFFENSE. Dungy hired OC's similar to Fairchild while HC of the Bucs. That is the reason the Bucs have one ring instead of three or four. Dungy was told he had NOTHING to do with the offense when hired by the Colts. I agree there are better options than Gruden.

He has not signed yet. The Bears want to see if they have a young guy that can step up & play. Brooks wants to be PAID WELL & will not play for the fun of it (Vet Minimum).

I thought the game plan was very good considering the short time period Alex had to put it together. I don't think Trent excecuted it very well with the exception of two drives. The rest of the game he was mediocre.

Your explanation of "every" is pretty poor. Favres passes were thrown ON TARGET so the receiver could make yards after the catch unlike Trents which forces the receiver to streach or bend down to make the catch & be immediately tackled.

Good post. There are some people on this board that hate Favre, & went on & on about how he was washed up when the Vikings signed him. They have to eat crow when he plays well so of course they will not give him credit for anything.

I agree, why is it that you hear "this saftey plays the run well", Maybin has at least the body of a LB & is fast, if he knows how to tackle, he should be able to stop the run.
