  1. Trent had significant playing time his Rookie year. JP had his leg broken by a scumbag his Rookie year in PRESEASON. Nice attempt though.
  2. JP's 2nd year was his 1st year with ANY playing time at all. Keep 'em coming.
  3. Here are the FACTS Biscuit. You can pull up stats all you like but you can't really compare them for the simple reason they were accrued against DIFFERENT Teams at Different times. JP played against some MUCH BETTER Teams than Trent has. Trent also has MUCH BETTER players around him than JP did, and has been in the same offense since his Rookie year. While JP had his breakout year his 3rd year he BROKE HIS LEG his rookie year & played very little that year. I already said I agree with you that Trent deserves this year. I would not want it any other way. We shall see at the end of the year if Trent is any better than JP.
  4. It was reported & well known down here in Tampa. They have a pretty good GM up in Indy. The FUNNY thing is while the Colts had a GREAT Offense with Tom Moore in charge of it & needed help on the defensive side, the Bucs had a GREAT Defense with Monte Kiffen in charge as DC & needed help on the Offensive side of the ball. Gruden was told basically the same thing as Dungy, the Defensive side is Kiffen's, you just worry about the Offense. It worked out GREAT for both the Bucs & Colts.
  5. You would think so, BUT...........................it has happened before & they have a deal in place with TV & the networks know the posibility exists for a year of no Football.
  6. It could be the owners are preparing for NO Football after next year so they don't want to be on the Hook for the salary of a Big time coach.
  7. Actually Rich McKay was the GM & the man responsible for building that Bucs team. Dungy was the Coach period. In his time in Tampa he NEVER hired a good OC. That is the reason the Bucs don't have 3 or 4 rings as they should. He was fired by the Glazers, owners of the team for that reason. When hired by the Colts Dungy was told he would have NO INPUT on the offensive side of the ball including the OC.
  8. It is much easier to let go when the replacement is better than the person being replaced. Too bad that is not the case with JP & Trent.
  9. ALL of the JP HATERS polluted the board. Tit for tat. I will give Trent credit when he deserves it, but believe me when he plays like he did against the Saints, I will be on this board polluting it with the TRUTH.
  10. I am so sick of "taking what the defense is giving him". How about let's ATTACK the Defense & TAKE what we want!
  11. I am also giving Trent the rest of the year & voted that way in the poll in the other thread. After the last game however, I am so sick of Dick & Trent that I can't wait for this season to end. I have NO faith that the two of them will lead the Bills to a winning record this year. I wouldn't even mind the losses so much if they were at least fun to watch, but Dick & Trent Football is BORING.
  12. I am with you. We have moved on from JP, now let's move on from Trent.
  13. I thought Trent finally woke up watching the Pats* game. He had some good moments during that game. it was the most fun game to watch in a long time. The Bucs game was also fun to watch but both of those defenses are not very good & the Bucs is probably the worst in the NFL at this time. How does a team with T.O. & Lee Evens not score a SINGLE POINT on offense against an AVERAGE NFL defense? Not only that but Trent can't get the ball to T.O. even ONCE to keep a LONG time streak intact. There is no doubt in my mind that JP would have put some points on the board in that game & T.O. would still have his streak of catching a ball in each game alive if JP were still QB of the Bills. I will not lose any sleep over the fact that I will not be able to watch JP & the Loco's because Direct TV no longer carries VS due to unreasonable demands from Comcast to do so. Now missing hockey games VS will carry.
  14. A few plays a game is what separates the GOOD from the mediocre.
  15. I HATED Gregg from the day he was hired but in retrospect I sadly agree that the Bills would have been better off keeping him than what they have had since his firing.
  16. I think you are confusing Losman & Edwards. It is Edwards that only plays well against the worst defenses. Losman is no longer a Bill because Dick chose your boy Trent over him due to the fact he has the same mentality as Dick. I have never seen such BORING football in my life as I have since these two have been the QB & HC. Thank God we should not be subjected to the two of them much longer.
  17. He also thinks Trent is a good NFL QB.
  18. I did not vote in this stupid poll. I just want to ask the people that vote Move one question. Why don't you just jump on the Giants, Cowboys, Pats*, or whoever bandwagon? WE DON'T NEED YOU OR WANT YOU TO ROOT FOR THE BILLS!!!!!!!!!
  19. Trust me Garcia is no Favre. He was terrible last year.
  20. BINGO......... we have a winner.
  21. My favorite Fin QB of all time is Garo Yepremian.
  22. Does Dick take a Head Coach position next year in the UFL or a position coach in the NFL?
  23. He also won't be surrounded by NFL caliber talent on Offense, so I think that is a wash.
  24. I would GLADLY take Fassel TOMORROW as Head Coach of the Bills over Dick.
  25. I would bet AVP did not call for all of those short checkdown passes Trent threw on Sunday. Trent had other options on every play but he usually takes the one with the least risk & hence the least reward.
