  1. Coming into this offseason, my number one priority to fix was the run defense. I am just so sick and tired of being run over by teams, including the Jets and Fish. They have taken serious steps to try to fix the run D: 1. They have switched to a 3-4, tougher to run against than the 4-3. 2. They have brought in Davis and Edwards, two professional run stuffers. 3. They drafted Troup and Carrington early, big guys who are run stuffers. 4. Later on, they took Moats and Batten who make our linebacking corps much bigger. We don't know how any of these moves are going to work out, but they have attempted to address the problem and with this team, that's definite progress.
  2. They just cut Marlon Favorite which may indicate they like Lonnie. Seems to get good push/penetration. (No, that is absolutely NOT what she said!)
  3. Right. They have to sign him or it's a one year rental.
  4. Alright people, we've had the draft and signed some free agents. So it's time to ask,can we go 19-0? I'm talking running the table? I mean all the way too. Not like the stinkin cheatin miserable Bellicheatin Pats. Weigh in people. Whattaya think? Pro Bowl seasons for Maybin and Brohm.
  5. This is being consistently overrated by everyone. The Bills rushed 4 guys on EVERY down. There was almost never a three man rush. Sometimes we sent 5 or 6. It wasn't like the current 3-4's.
  6. None of this explains why Trent went from being an effective QB to suddenly sucking. I blame the concussion, but he played well in the San Diego game. Then he suddenly started throwing picks and lost his confidence. I thought Holcomb was bad. I have never seen anyone check down as much as he does. Don't think Chan can rehab this guy.
  7. If Schobel decides to call it quits, I see Kawika being switched out side and competing with Maybin and Kelsay for starting job. If Schobel comes back, he is a starter who would rarely be used in pass coverage. The wild card here is Maybin. He has the tools but needs to play well. The two rookie "backers are interesting and may be used situationally if they can earn time.
  8. Regardless of how you may feel about Dez Bryant, anyone is entitled to a little more respect than that. He is attempting to play pro football, not be a supreme court justice. If I were he, I would have walked out. The Dolphins are a classless organization. They owe him an apology. The Bucs didn' cover themselves with class either with Myron Rolle. Something in the water in Fla?
  9. Since this coaching staff recognized how weak our run D was and addressed it in rounds 2 and 3, it kind of makes me wonder if we would have gone Rolando McClain at #9 if the Raidas hadn't of taken him.
  10. Do you have Nicholson's entire speech memorized?
  11. This kid on film reminds me of Bryce Paup. I am excited about both him and Arthur Moats. I like all the picks , except Easley. I believe we still need a free agent wide receiver.
  12. My favorite quote over the weekend was Gailey saying " I don't care about hurt feelings, I care about scoring points!" It's hard to imagine the touchy- feely let's cut practice short Dick Jauron saying something like that. Kick some ass Chan.
  13. Wish I'd said that
  14. I kind of like the idea of a lineman that size driving a moped while intoxicated. Seriously, I do not believe this to be a moral issue or makes him a bad guy. I would have been OK with Tony Washington too. This happened when he was 16! You gonna hold this forever against him? Bring him in . Let's play football. Tell him to leave the sister at home.
  15. I thought Chavous did an excellent job. He seemed to know something about every player, like Kiper and Mayock do. For someone I had never seen before as an analyst, very impressive. A jock with knowledge! By the way, they asked the ESPN panel to name the top QB available today and Todd McShay said "Levi Brown"
  16. That is one impressive highlight package. Appears strong, runs through people, 4.7 speed. Nice pick here. Ideal 3-4 rush linebacker. I think this kid may stick.
  17. I believe Brown is an excellent pick here. He is big, strong arm, reasonable interception total.Obviously green. But Gailey is supposed to be a developer of quarterbacks and here he's got someone with the physical tools. I would have rather had Lefevour because he can run with the football. But I think that Brown was as good as any of the day three options.
  18. Don't think Kindle will be there. Roger Saffold or Brian Price.
  19. All the analysts love Spiller. I'm not sure he's the right pick for us. But I'll reserve judgment and wait on what they do tomorrow.
  20. My thoughts exactly. F grade to Nix on day one. All you can say is it's a better pick than Maybin was.
  21. Assuming the Bills go OT in the first round, is everyone on board with Colt McCoy in round 2?
  22. Based on what I've read, I would be happy with Cam Thomas in the second round. Just my opinion.
  23. There are so many needs on this team and Morgan would fill one of them. My pick is Bulaga if he is there.
  24. Humphrey Bogart Here's looking at you kid.
