  1. What made me feel more safe about this pick was how NFLN said he was an Academic All American who graduated in 3.5 years. That tells me we didn't take an immature guy.
  2. We'll continue this discussion IF we draft him.
  3. I've seen everything from a 4.59 up to a 4.69...regardless, I've read numerous times that Saban's never talked up a prospect with such high praise as he has McClain. That speaks volumes.
  4. If Okung is already taken and we can't trade down, it's going to be Clausen (if there) otherwise McClain.
  5. It doesn't matter if it's a t-ball game or a major league game. A 2 out bottom of the 9th HR to even things up is heroic.
  6. Ourlads - Mock Draft (4.08) This service rates higher in their percentage of correct picks over the last 5 yrs than Kiper, Glazer, and McShay at 26% correct. They have us picking up.....Clausen.
  7. Dan Williams....unless we choose him in the 20's.
  8. 1. I think Buddy is going to pick McClain as well. It's a safe pick as Rolando is a "can't miss". 2. It has now come out in the past few days that Rolando does NOT have Crohn's Disease. No Crohn's Disease 3. I take it you're a Bama guy, so did you go to "A-Day" this past Saturday? Or is that just a coincidence to your name?
  9. Posluszny - 25 yrs old...Missed 13 games in '07 and 4 in '09 Mitchell - 30 yrs old...Missed 11 games in '09 Davis - 31 yrs old I see your point, but with the injury problems, the age of Mitchell and Davis, and the 3-4 change, I'd still consider McClain the safe bet.
  10. You didn't love Smoltz, Maddux, or Glavine? Smoltzie was the one I always loved.
  11. Thunder! I think they can win 2 in that series. It sucks they had such a rough ending to the season and have to play LA.
  12. Nope, just showing an evaluation of McClain.
  13. Let me add this link as well: Tale of the Tape: McClain versus Lee
  14. Gotta disagree as well. There's a reason(s) that scouts have McClain rated higher than Spikes. First, McClain didn't run a 5.0 40 at his Pro Day like Spikes. Instead, he ran a 4.6. Second, McClain has been starting at the "qb" position of the 3-4 since his freshman year. It took Spikes until his sophomore year to get legit playing time. Third, he's got slightly better size than Spikes, which is important for an MLB. McClain 6'4" 258 lbs., Spikes 6'3" 255 lbs. Fourth, McClain is not a dirty player, but Spikes is. After tearing up his opponent, Rolando helps them up, whereas Spikes gouges them in the eyes. Lastly, Rolando has been compared to being Nick Saban in a football player's body out there. He is very wise to the 3-4 scheme. Spikes was a part of a Gators squad that runs a 4-3.
  15. Check out this article if you want to see a bashing of Rasheed....Bill Simmons: Smoke and Mirrors And this one as well....
  16. I'll bet that even gay viewers hated 'em!
  17. He has all the tools to be better than Dez or Tate, but it'll take at least a year to get seasoned in running professional routes.
