  1. For those who weren't impressed last night, here's a quote from Rolando after the game: "I just want to go home and take another shower and go to sleep," McClain said. "That’s how weak and tired I am right now. But my team needed me. They needed me to be a leader, and I couldn’t let them see that I was sick. I couldn’t let them see that I wasn’t 100 percent. For them, I’d do anything"

  3. Alabama '08 - a team that came off a heart-breaking loss to Florida to play the "bride's maid" against a team they had no respect for AND missing 2 starting OL Utah '08 - this was their national championship and they had something to prove I'm not discounting who won the game, but comparing Utah '08/Bama '08 Sugar Bowl to Boise '09/Bama '09 BCSCG doesn't make sense to me.
  4. Last night was the greatest night of my life! As a life long Bama/Bills fan, I'll have to admit that I love Bama 2x as much as Buffalo. And whoever said something about Boise St. matching up with Bama.... Once they can go through a real schedule against real teams with a real championship game, then they can play in the BCS Title game.
  5. He had a great game last night even though he was sick as a dog the days prior. McClain is a stud.
  6. The facts: Alabama fumbled while they were putting the game away. Tennessee had to recover an onside kick to have the chance to score. They got into fg range after a vehement holding penalty wasn't called while the qb was being pressured. On top of that, it was Bama's 8th consecutive game (5 SEC) in a row without a bye, while Tennessee was coming off of a bye week. I just don't like how people refer back to that game as if Bama doesn't deserve to be #1.
  7. 20-7 Bama...watch out for Bama's sophomore safety, All-American Mark Barron to make a play tonite.
  8. This is cute...I remember "plane chasing" 3 years ago when the Alabama Crimson Tide was looking for a coach.
  9. That'd be too awesome for our team to do. I know he ran down Tebow and made a solo on a hurry to the left in the SECCG.
  10. They're being given the playoffs by the Colts last week and the Bengals (who really have nothing to play for) tonight.
  11. To really show his speed, I was searching for the open field tackle he made on Tebow in the SECCG, but couldn't find it.
  12. No, that $1250 was her normal salary for the past week she had worked, so he still owes us the $1100. Update: The accountant finally called my wife today and told her that she knows the situation but is too scared to ask the guy about it because of the chaos in his office that was caused by my wife not being there (I'm dead serious). Evidently, the guy is 10x worse than normal, which says a lot. So, she promised my wife to get back to her on Monday when she will definitely speak with him about it. I'll take this as good news and hope that the boss honestly forgot to put what he owes in her final check because of the craziness that he brought upon himself. As much of an a-hole as he is, he has always paid my wife what she is owed...until now. So, we'll see. Regardless, he will burn in hell.
  13. I forgot to tell how my wife signed a confidentiality agreement when she was originally hired. Now, what he wants her to sign is like a "cut all ties"/confidentiality agreement. Knowing of the first signing, I think contacting TMZ wouldn't be a great idea...or would it?
  14. Thanks for the help, guys and gals. I'll wait it out through the weekend and make a decision.
  15. I don't know much about the legal side of things, so let's see if anybody can offer me some advice. Here's the rundown: My wife has worked for a very wealthy man (> $300 million) as a nanny/personal assistant for about 9 months. This man has to have the highest turnover rate possible because of his narcissistic and demanding ways. The way this guy treats his employees is like something you'd see in a movie. He has up to 10 people working in his home on a daily basis. His turnover rate has been so high, that my wife had the most experience with him in her 5th month! But, why did my wife stay? She was being paid over 60k...that's why. Well, she finally decided last week that it was just not worth it and put her 2 weeks notice in. At the time, she had worked so much overtime that he owed her $2200 on her next check. We have never had a problem receiving the overtime, but in this instance he told her he'd split it up into $1100 on one check and the other half on the next. Well, three days after my wife put in her two weeks, he called and fired her over the phone for "lack of production". That's b.s., but whatever. So, he gives my wife a confidentiality form to sign (cause he's kind of a celebrity) so she doesn't rat on all the drugs he takes and whatnot. On the form, it says that he'll pay her $1250 upon her leaving to cover one week of work plus severance pay. Yet, it does not say anything about the other $1100 that she is owed. Therefore, she's obviously not going to sign it. Here's the dilemma... My wife has been trying to contact his accountant numerous times in the past few days, yet she is being ignored. So, she tried to contact her boss and got his voicemail. She left a very kind message that she will not sign the papers until she is properly paid. So, in response, he had one of his minions call her and tell her to leave him alone and stop calling. Then, we received the $1250 in check form through FEDEX yesterday and had it cashed immediately. Yet, he still owes her the $1100. What should we do? I feel like going through court would be a waste of time because this guy is being sued by 4 other people right now and has the finest lawyers money can buy, while we definitely can't afford that. And, he's the kind of guy that would fight such a small amount of money in court just to make a point. Any realistic thoughts or suggestions?
  16. 2 greatest wrestlers ever: Razor Ramon and Scott Hall...enough said.
  17. Dexter and 24 are my favorite tv shows right now. If you're going to watch Dexter, you have to do it in dvd marathons, otherwise it's not quite the same. To put it simply, it's about a vigilante serial killer who tries to live a normal life with a family, but has a "dark passenger" with him....
  18. It was definitely one of the most emotional episodes of television I've ever seen.
  19. What a douche ....like it's his fault that his dad f's up.
  20. Dion Lewis - 297 att, 1640 yds, 5.5 ypc, 16 TD, 24 Rec., 190 yds. Mark Ingram - 249 att, 1542 yds, 6.2 ypc, 15 TD, 30 Rec, 322 yds. Pretty even stats, but Lewis doesn't share carries and go versus some of the best defenses on a weekly basis. Sorry, but the Big East defenses are laughable in comparison with the SEC. Don't get me wrong, this guy's a stud....but, he's not better than Mark Ingram.
  21. Bama Beat Writer - Twitter According to Rev. Nutt, prospect Greg Hardy broke his wrist and may be out for the year. I post this here to remind those who are looking to draft him just how injury prone he is.
