My parents live on top of a hill between Syracuse and Watertown. They have an antenna pointed in each direction. Before digital they could sometimes pick up Kingston and Rochester channels, not great, but you could watch them if you wanted. I'm trying to convince them to go with one of these newer omni directional and see how many more channels they could get. All that is okay if you rarely, if at all, use CBSAA for viewing your local station. Streaming library yes would stay the same.

With the Bills not playing today, it would be a good time for those that want to try this, to give it a shot. I will be away for most of the afternoon, but if you have any questions, post them and I will try to answer as soon as I can. I checked on my Roku CBSAA app, if you go into Settings, then Live TV, you have to go through a couple menus basically telling it that the station shown is not your local station, before it asks you for a zip code. Orchard Park is 14127. But once you do that, you can't change it back without contacting CBS.
