Burning down the house
My house, is out of the ordinary
That's right, don't want to hurt nobody
Some things, sure can sweep me off my feet
Burning down the house
An update from Mary this afternoon.
Ok my prayer warriors as of today, Cindy will be considered "hospice." Yesterday was an extremely draining day. Linda and I went to see her. We had a nice visit and even laughed a little. I had to sleep on my decision being her health care proxy. There is no quality of life left for her. Tomorrow is her wedding anniversary and I believe she is going to join her wonderful husband in heaven. Please pray that her suffering is over and she is definitely going to much happier place. I hope I do not have to go through this process again for a very long time. Thank you for all your kind words over the past week. Love you all. Pray for my sister!!
I'm learning to fly (learning to fly), but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
I'm learning to fly (learning to fly), around the clouds
But what goes up (learning to fly) must come down
It's Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin' down on Friday
Everybody's lookin' forward to the weekend
My father worked for a paper plant north of Syracuse, owned by a German company. They would have execs from Germany come, and ask about going to see things like Niagara Falls or NYC, and would be surprised to find it wasn't a quick easy trip.
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'd been married long time ago
Where did you come from, where did you go?
Where did you come from, Cotton-Eye Joe?
A little ditty 'bout Jack & Diane
Two American kids growing up in the heart land
Jack, he's gonna be a football star
Diane's debutante, back seat of Jacky's car
If I were rich, I'd have the time that I lack to sit in the synagogue and pray
And maybe have a seat by the Eastern wall
And I'd discuss the holy books with the learned men, several hours every day
And that would be the sweetest thing of all
I wanna fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle, let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
'Til I'm free
Oh Lord, through the revolution
